Weeks surrounding Thanksgiving

I'm planning our WDW vacation for 2009. I'm thinking of trying to incorporate some holiday time off at work so we can have more days to visit the Orlando area.

For those who visit the park frequently, do you find that most vacationers visit WDW the week before Thanksgiving or the week after?

I'm thinking of flying the "Red Eye" from Seattle on the Wednesday night before and staying through the week after the holiday. I know that the parks will be very crowded during the holiday weekend, but thinking maybe we'll go to Universal, Sea World and IOA on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, then go to WDW beginning Sunday.
