The trip we had planned during late April/early May may have to be switched to January. We were thinking to arrive New Year's day and stay for the following week. We are from SoCal, so anticipating similar weather to here, but wanted feedback from those who have been during that time (or have friends/family and can share.)
What can you tell me about crowds, weather, ride closures? All input greatly appreciated!!

We are going the same week. I hear the crowds really start to die down after the weekend. Hopefully someone had some good advice for us. :shamrock:

The Monday following New Years it will die down then, because most kids will be back in school and most families leave over the weekend. The weather normally is very nice 70s and maybe low 80s during the day but at night probably 60s. Sometimes though the weather goes crazy, and a few years back I had to wear a real coat and gloves and my Uggs because I was so cold. I remember them covering the plants. It was in the 40s some nights which some people may like but I get cold easily. The had some close to record lows that year. I have a picture on Splash Mountain all bundled up from at trip.
