We've had too much snow this winter. I find the older I get, the less well I tolerate winter. It's gotten to the point where we are seriously considering a move to FL in the next year or so.

I am sitting here watching snow fall. Suppose to get 15 inches. I hate winter! Just talked to my niece and she is in Vero Beach said it was sunny and warm. That's okay, I will be in Orland in less then 90 days.

I am beyond fed up with the snow myself. Apparently we're getting some tonight yet I had the windows open the other day.

Oh boy! That's going to make travelling fun! We've got 100% chance of snow here. SIGH.

I guess I better pack a book to read too since I'm guessing my flight is going to get delayed.

What's everybody reading these days?

I'm torn between bringing The King's Speech (the non-fiction account on which the movie was based) or The Last Hero (by Rick Riordan who wrote the Percy Jackson series) with me. The King's Speech is topical since I'll be flying back on Oscar night and when not reading it, I can stare dreamily at Colin Firth on the cover. However I'm sure The Last Hero will be a lighter read.

I supposed if I have enough space in my carryon I can bring both!

We've checked the prices of homes in Celebration, but its about 50% more than what we would pay for the same home just a few miles away.

I haven't looked at home prices in Florida but one "nice" thing about living in the suburbs of NYC is that everywhere else seems inexpensive (except maybe the San Fran area).
I also have to worry about educating my brood!

Fairytale ending to the Daytona 500...at age 20, Trevor Bayne wins. I think it is his second Sprint car race. He is now the second youngest to win a Sprint car race.
