Weekend Posting War

I am sitting here watching snow fall. Suppose to get 15 inches. I hate winter! Just talked to my niece and she is in Vero Beach said it was sunny and warm. That's okay, I will be in Orland in less then 90 days.

We've had too much snow this winter. I find the older I get, the less well I tolerate winter. It's gotten to the point where we are seriously considering a move to FL in the next year or so.

One of the great advantages of having DVC - you can bring your leftovers home and have them for lunch later in the trip!

One of the things that totally surprised me - they also let us take the bottle of wine away with us!

We had the cutest waitress that night! She kept calling us "My ladies!" Totally adorable. :lovestruc

I hate waiting and enjoy going to restaurants that would require a long wait. I love planning a vacation. You should see my Seattle and Alaska pre-vacation PowerPoints.;)

Of course, what the spreadsheet doesn't show is that I canceled the CP breakfast and added a last minute ADR at Brown Derby. Planning is fine just so long as you leave room for spontaneity.

And there is a great deal of irony for a lawyer to have that quote (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TkuZ5oI9uY) but it didn't originate with me.

I agree. I love planning and DH can't be bothered. He likes to decide when we're there. So I do a lot of planning with built-in flexibility.

My kids ask daily if we can move to Florida!

I need to break for lunch and have 0% inspiration for what to have. :confused3

With all this talk of food, I pretty much will be disappointed if my lunch is anything other than a steak from the Yachtsman. :lmao:

We don't own DVC...yet. But we've taken advantage of the discount and have stayed in DVC properties a few times. I love not wasting food!

Ummm. I'm having a little problem with the concept of left over wine. Can you explain how that happens? ;)

Last trip to WDW, my wife and I had a rental car and we took an afternoon to drive around the various neighborhoods just to see what they had to offer. Right now Clermont looks good.

When I'm fantasizing about moving to Florida, I always end up looking in Winter Garden. Don't know why.

Off to go Target shopping with mom. See you guys later. :)

Bob would be proud.:)

Since I come from Bawb-land, I wouldn't stand out at all.

One of the things I like about Clermont is that it is away from the heavy tourist influence like you see in the Kissimmee area but is still close enough to WDW that you can get there in about 15-20 minutes.

I'm also going to check out no-name town where Kathy lives.
