What's everyone up to this am?

I'm hoping to spend some time this pm unmounting more stamps now that I've found the desk. I have taken the 2 drawers in the storage box dad built and condensed them down to the shelf above my scrap desk. you can see a few clear cases on it. the drawers are the whole size of the unit on each side you can kind of see the door size

other that that and general house cleaning. Its back on the healthy eating wagon and the WII ( oMG I forgot how I hate that thing going OH when my fat butt stands on it. :scared1: It's like I know I'm fat I really don't need you telling me it too. Then that little mii went poof into a blimp and it was like ARGH!!!!!! so I'm back on the kick to drop 20 lbs to start with. after that I'd like to loose 20+ more.

Good morning
I never really got into stamps - I do have a few but they were all the clear ones
the main ones I use are journeyling boxes

I"m working backlot tour LO - using last year's files
I'm trying to get DHS done - thought it would help to work on one album figure to do AK next when the swap comes back to me so that should help get that quickly

got laundry going - need to fold later
clean kitchen - most likely when I"m cooking supper

I want to lose 10 lbs myself - at least 5 but then I want to tone up (or add some muscle)

I'm addicted to stamps like some people are paper (well I'm semi addicted to that too) I have so many and I never used them cause I had to go looking for them. I'm hoping that having them out on the shelf and the colored cardstock on the desk will motivate me more. I've still got abt 15 sets on the desk and a few that I won't unmount in the storage unit.

What's up with all the underlined things this am?

took me a minute to see it - it is shorter isn't it
I'm addict to Diet cherry vanilla Dr Peppers & facebook
facebook had a picture of the lazy river at TL - I so want to be there (even comment that James keeps trying to pack to go)

speaking of James packing - I picked up some rain ponchos at Wal-mart, he had to try them on both colors (I got red & blue) - I wonder if I could decorate them (at least get the boys names & my cell phone number on them somehow)

Good luck with your projects today ladies!

I've got laundry on the menu today :laundy: Plus vacuuming and cleaning the kitchen.

I also need to spend some time on the DLR swap.

Christy, I really detest the Wii fit board and the snide comments it makes! The little Mi also drives me nuts! But I love playing on it, so I usually mute it!:rotfl2:

I am working on Julia's DC album, hoping to get it finished today. Need to go check my swap pieces for some pieces to use on the next few pages.

Reddy with the cricut vinyal I would think you could stick that right to the ponchos.

I'd love to be anywhere but home today. I'm the only one here but so dangblasted tired, I try not to sit at the computer long cause I'll fall asleep! I know some of it is the weight but most of it is I'm not sleeping enough at night 5-6 hours just doesn't cut it for me. Tonight I will be in bed by 8:30 and lights out at 9. At least I only work 2 days next week so I can sleep in in the ams.

Got more laundry going and found another corner of the bedroom it's ALMOST finished!!! Need to have the old tv carried out of there I WILL NOT be touching it. I have to redo the closet and put things back in the under eaves storage and then fold 2 piles of cloths and it will be done. Need to also have the box of books carried out. after that it's vac and change the bed sheets but I'm saving that battle till tomorrow (waterbed requires 2 most times).

off to finish

Cassey glad some one else hates it too!

I don't have a Wii - keep thinking it might be good with the fit board but with what you 2 are saying I may not get one - boys don't play games on TV (tried a playstation at one point) so couldn't talk DH into getting one

I decided to do fun things today - so I"m making up the paper piecing & not worrying about the LOs yet (that way I can be quick for next month ;) )

I did decided to wait on 3 LOs until I know if my sister will be coming or not - no way my boys will go to shows or at least Richard won't so no point in doing them if there is no way of going

Reddy I love the wii. just hate the snide comments it makes, I get used to them after awhile. It's those first few weeks. Otherwise I love it, the fit plus has yoga, strength training..... so worth it. I'm just whinning please tell me to zip it and get my fat butt moving! I got myself into this mess I need to get myself out, I've set up goals for myself from now till dec 29 (or what ever the last sat in the year is. I will weigh in every sat. am (i'm sure i will inbetween but those don't count. At each goal I'm going to reward myself with something haven't figured out what yet. Goal 1 is 12 pounds.

are you dieting??
I went from 167 to 135 in 6 months by doing Atkins & walking - I"m holding at 130 to 135 -- 125 is what I should be at (when I got pregant with Richard I was 112) so that isn't too low
music helps with walking - small goals - I like rewards, avon jewelery is good, there is this really cute Mickey head ring coming out ;) (my sister is selling & I"M getting the demo) or maybe new shoes or a trendy top

yep although I don't use that word cause it blows up in my face. And of course tonight we are having a birthday party for Tom's aunt. I'm trying to eat healthy and they are serving manacotti, any pasta is my downfall but then I'm from an italian family! and dessert is strawberry shortcake! so I've been VERY careful of my food today (probably didn't eat enough actually) but its hot out so I really don't want to eat. I'm above your highest number by the legal drinking age + a bit!! over all I'm hoping to drop 42 lbs and maybe a bit more I'd like to do it in the 6 months but I realize that is alot of weight to drop over all and it may take a bit longer. I know my downfalls soda (can't do diet i'm allergic to nutrasweet and aspratame), breads, pastas, potatoes and McD's sweet tea! But when Tom said something abt my weight i had to kick myself into gear. I know it wasn't intentional but.....

Hoping dad makes a salad and I'll have that and 1 small manacotti. and no shortcake just some berries.

family gathering is the hardest - you have to eat this or you'll upset so&so
I need to get my butt in gear & work on losing - I do better when I know there is a Disney trip coming - I'm losing for Mickey really works for me about 6 month out since I know there photopass guys every time you turn around

Christy, good luck tonight at the party! I find family gatherings to be the hardest while trying to eat healthy. I eat right most of the time so it helps to balance things out. Excercise is my downfall, I will make every excuse not to workout! I don't use the diet word either, makes me crave everything I shouldn't. I take it one day at a time, try to eat right and get some sort of excercise in when I can. I am closing in on my goal of low 120's so I must be doing something right.

:thumbsup2 good start!

I am back on the getting rid of baby weight thing, he's 9 months old now, I was doing awesome right after he was born but then I went back to work and I just didn't have time, same thing happened when I quit. No time!

Soda and coffee are my downfalls, I made a deal with myself that I can have them as long as I drink a water bottle before and after. seems to be working, I am using the my fitness pal app for my phone, it lets me put in my food, weight, exercise, water, all of it keeps track of everything. Even has a scan function, and a recipe function. Its nice to have it all right there. It even counts different every day things into the exercise, vacuuming, house cleaning, walking up and down stairs, carrying the baby. So far this week, I am down 5 pounds just by watching what I am doing. Even with the Burger king for lunch yesterday.

Monday morning I will start Jillian's 30 day shred again. Loved it!! and then do Pilates in the evenings. So 30 mins 2x a day, once it becomes routine I will be set.

Cassey I too hate exercise at least with all the "mii's" staring at me I feel like someones watching and I'm held accountable.

Rachel I wonder if the kindle has an app like that? Might have to borrow one of the boys  as if they put them down when I'm around. I too need more water its always been my down fall. No more soda for me and i never drank coffee so that was an easy give up.

I ate more than I should have so I came home cleaned the kitchen emptied/reloaded and emptied again the disheasher folded 2 loads of cloths and about to do another flip there. Hope I at least burned off a garlic bread 1/2 slice i ate.

sunday to do
Back on the wii in the am for 1 hour
more laundry
final corner of our bedroom (myside of the bed ugh) but it's mostly clean cloths in a basket to put way
sensible lunch???? craving tuna but no mayo allowed right now.
clean out fridge
clean and organize freezer
figure out dinner? tom and Levi will be in the hay field
more wii time???
prep and cook supper
vac house
clean up

Find time for stamp unmounting I never got to today.

Christy, I don't know if it will help you or not - but - well, I went wheat free 20 days ago after reading a book called "wheat belly". I have chosen to not eat wheat in any shape or form again. EVER.

The list of illnesses/syndroms and disorders that wheat supposedly influences is long, and I have several of them. The weight isn't exactly 'falling' off me, like it does for some people, but the upward climb has been stilled (I had regained 10# of the 55 I had lost after the diabetes diagnosis).

I have actually been sleeping through the night! THat hasn't happened in decades - even after I got my C-pap, I didn't sleep all night.

AND, I haven't been inappropriately hungry. Before I was starving all the time - even right after dinner.

Bruce is trying it too - even to the extent of buying wheat free beer - and you know that boy loves him some beer. Neither one of us has had a nap in two weeks! Before it was an almost daily occurance.

Get the book! You might find it worth your while to try it too.

Linda I'll have to check it out. Beer isn't so much of an issue (although i love blue moon) if I do have a drink it's usually hard stuff in soda! so I'm leaving that alone, or I'll have a margarita or 3!:rotfl: I didn't do bad last night just the berries Tom scoopped up a huge portion and then threw whip cream on it. I was like way to be counter productive honey!!!!

I'm trying to wake up so that I can get on the wii. Sleeping wasn't a problem last night infact i slept so hard i'm sorer than I expected from the wii. Slept on the right side which is odd for me so I'll do some yoga and stretch it out. I do the cardio one day and yoga/strength training the next. Sometimes I'll toss is 1 free run on the off days.

It's about retraining myself that just cause the chips are in the house for the boys doesn't mean I can eat it.

off to get busy on the days list! allergies are acting up this am uck

Good morning everyone
DH is off today so no telling what we are going to do - I'm thinking lay low maybe go for a walk in alittle bit.
didn't get much done yesterday

Ah sleep...I miss my good sleeping years which was from 34-38. I was single, went to bed at 10pm, up at 6am BEFORE my alarm went off. Now it's an hour here or there; husband may be snoring or I'm waking up in a pool of sweat and my bed has suddenly become the Sahara Desert (thank you hot flashes) only to find my DH rolled up in the quilt in our 67 degree bedroom. I also have bad dreams at least once a week and wake up screaming (I thinks its due to stress with my ailing parents). I was so tired yesterday I had a 3 hour nap in the afternoon. This has been going on for the last 6 months but life has been crazy: I quit/retired from my job due to having psoriasis on my eyelids and palms of my hands - it was hard working with an eye swollen shut and my hands wrapped in gauze and gloved -, my Mom moving to Hospice care, Dad needing surgery, DH working a mandatory 6 days a week, 10 hours a day (which will end July 27) and a host of other issues, sigh!

Linda - think I'm gonna get the Wheat Belly book! I need to get back to walking, I have LOTS of weight to lose...

Stress stinks. I had that at my previous job. my body was breaking out in boils!!!!! Spent so many days at the hospital with no answers, no job no boils. I'm sorry for you having to deal with so much in a short amount of time. I will add you to my prayers. My sleep habits have never evened out and Eric is going on 12. The hormones (bc) to control my pcos gave me hot flashed at 30! I've given up on all meds and just try to coast through the rough patches. Sleep when you can your body needs it! If that means a 3 hour nap well at this point take it.

Once I'm back to work the work out will have to be moved to 1:30 when I get home. Hopefully it will snap me out of the afternoon sleepies. course this week I work mon and tue then off for 3 days

I'm flipping laundry then sitting at the scrap desk to undo a few stamps a small reward for surviving the hour. I've never managed more that 35 mins at a wack on it. then I have to get to work on the bedroom
