We are going to stay two nights for the first time at a Universal Resort. We will be staying at RPR Nov 21&22. How do you think the crowds will be at this time.

We will be at HRH that weekend and from what a previous post said a few months ago, the weekend before Thanksgiving shouldn't be too crowded.

I can't believe we will be there in about 4 weeks.

Elise

The week before Thanksgiving will NOT be crowded. Line will be short, so be sure to alow yourself to soak up the theming.

We stayed at the HRH the week before Thanksgiving last year and it was soooo nice! The weather was beautiful and as for the crowds well there weren't any until Thanksgiving day. The normal lines were short and with our room key we almost always walked on to everything except for DD(need to change the way the express line merges into regular line  ) and the Hulk (stopped running for a bit). We will be going again this year because we had such a great time last year and to use our APs one last time before they expire. The 22nd may be a little busier then usual because they are having the Cat In The hat movie and Breakfast deal going on but other then that this is a perfect time to go. Have a great time!

PaulaKim,

What is the Cat in the Hat and breakfast deal? I know the movie is opening at the weekend we are there but I didn't know about special events going on.

Thanks,

Elise

Elise, in the Annualpassholders newsletter they have listed an exclusive meal and showing of The Cat In The Hat scheduled for November 22. It also says to watch your mailbox for more details. well I have been watching my mailbox for close to 3 weeks now and still no info so I went ahead and called. The info I was given is that there will be 3 movie and breakfast seatings. The first one starts @7:00am and Annual passholders can purchase discounted tickets @ $14.95 children 3-9 $12.95. I think he said regular price is $19.95. You will need to call in November to purchase tickets. Sounds like fun! I saw Mike Meyers on Oprah this morning and they showed some clips from the movie. It looks cute.

Paula :)

Paula,

Thanks for the info. I'll have to look into it. I saw a bit of Oprah today and the Cat in the Hat movie looks cute. It will be fun to see it opening weekend at Universal.
