Does anyone know why the week of 11/30-12/6/25 is so booked up for DVC rooms? Within a couple days of January 1st, I attempted booking a five nights in a 1 Bedroom at Copper Creek Villas (home resort), and only the Cabins had availability. Within a couple week of January 1st (at a window of approx. 10.5 months), I noticed that particular week was nearly fully booked at every DVC resort at WDW. Why is that week so popular this far out? Is there something special going on that week that is not happening the week prior or after? I haven't found anything just by searching the internet.

The first two weeks of December are extremely popular everywhere, but especially at CCV.
Thank you Sandisw, but that is more of a generalization of why it's busy. I'm not a new DVC owner and I know it's always busy around the holidays. I was looking for something more specific - especially since there is availability for the entire week of Thanksgiving for nearly every resort. I would expected that week to book up more quickly.

People have been booking that week up right at 11 months for the past several years. I always book rooms for both the first and second week of Dec every year at RIV and VGF and it seems nothing comes back in the studios for sure.

Also, Sorcerer pass is blocked during Thanksgiving may also play a role. With CCV, since studios go so fast and are walked, the 1 bedrooms there go even faster.

The weather is usually nice; crowds in the parks are lower than they were for Thanksgiving and will be for Christmas; Christmas decorations, Candlelight Processional and MVMCP are in full swing; and before the recent points reallocations those were some of the cheapest weeks of the year.

Okay, it makes sense that the week after the Sorcerer's pass is blocked is a choice time - especially with all the Christmas festivities in full swing. I just thought there might be something I was missing. Thanks for the follow-up!

Thank you CarolynFH! We are looking forward to the Candlelight Processional (never been to it yet), and we'll have somewhere to stay - just not CCV. The point allocation changes have certainly been noticeable in recent years. Our least favorite time (summer) is clearly not anyone else's favorite time. I get enough heat/humidity in Iowa!
