Week Leading to Xmas

We'll be there 18 Dec - 26 Dec. How is the crowds that week leading to xmas? I hear it is busy as heck the week between xmas and NYE.

It will get more and more crowded each day from the 18th on. But you're right, biggest crowds are Christmas and after.

The first couple of days will be awesome and the closer it gets to christmas the more packed it will be. We usually go dec 16-23. The first few days we get all the big stuff that is must dos done and then relax more the last couple of days. It's a great time to go.

We were there last Dec 18-28...did a split stay first 4 nights WL, last 6 nights Dolphin. We did this as location strategy...figured we'd hit MK the early part of the trip and MGM/EPCOT once the crowds rolled in and we could walk to those parks if we wanted. We found the 18,19 to be crowded(weekend) 20, 21 low(rainy and cold tho) 22 jammed, (it hit mid 70's and sunny) 23 kinda busy, 24, 25 low crowds...but it was VERY cold and rainy...we hit MK around 10:30 the 24th and walked on just about anything we wanted...even Space Mtn! After that the parks were pretty jammed no matter what the weather, glad we were at the Dophin, plenty of room at resort and again, had the boats or walking options to the parks. We really liked seeing everything at the Holidays, have a great time!
