how is everyone's week-end going?? any big plans??

today I"m needing to pick up house some & get ready for Richard's B-day party tomorrow - need to get in touch with a couple of people today to see if they are going to make it or not :confused3

I played some in Pisca with its colage (sp??) thingy so I"m going to print that out then scrap it
then I"m not sure what to do next - I thinking work on Main Street ideas or go back to the AK ablum

I am making a menu for the week, going to the grocery store:sad:, and cleaning a little. I also need to clean up my scrap space some. Then I want to scrap some today and a lot tomorrow. We will see if those plans hold up. I had a goal in finishing my whole album before the end of summer, which is now impossible. I would a least like to do a little more though. Why do I take so mamy pictures:lmao:

I know what you mean on taking pics - that was why I was playing in pisca for the next section - We went to San Antonio to the Missions, I limited each Mission to 1 page colage then one page of eating out with friends there
I wish pisca would let switch where the blocks on, on a page other wise I like it

OK here is the collage pages - pretty simple LOs ;)

Cute! I like collage prints too

I just got home and am resting a bit. Need to go work on cleaning up my scrap space a bit so I can get busy!!

yea, I need to go sweep & mop the bathroom - don't want to do it
then I need to work on kitchen some
I should strip the boys beds & get that washed too

Those are nice pages.. I love the collage look!

We just returned from the zoo. It was crowded because the temps are in the 70s for the first time in over a month plus...

Next up on the list.. finish cutting the locker soccer balls... and wash DD's new towels/sheets and stuff for school...

Need to pack up and label the boys' school supplies too... just a few more days of freedom!

your boys get to keep their supplies?? around here the teacher takes it all up & puts most of the stuff in the supply cabinet except for notebooks & binders - I think the kids get to keep a couple of the pencils & pens but nothing else

I was thinking today - Mom has a sewing machince that emboreries (sp??) I should buy the boys towels & have her add their names so no one can claim them on me (I have lost jackets where other kids said they were theirs then I ask where are they - even send a pic & it is oh so and so said it was theirs - the teacher calls soso mom & ask for it back - usually comes back)

have a great day & good luck on getting it done

Reddy,

Some things are put into community supplies while other items are not.. Now that my kids are in MS and HS, they keep their supplies in their lockers with only a few items at the MS being community.

I label everything...makes me feel better... I have enough of a few supplies that I will not have to buy some items for the reminder of their school careers.. (ie crayons, markers), folders, papers, I always buy extra at the beginning of the school year.

my boys supplies still go to community but that is special ed for you

hmmm did you do the return label stickers?? that might be quicker (maybe I should had thought of that earlier)

No return labels, although I did that when the kids were younger..

The kids laugh but I'm very organized in the fact that their spiral notebook, folder and binder (if needed) must match.. they can pick which color for which class...then I make note on their schedule so if I have to go to school to pick up books for them while they are off to a ball game, I can grab which grouping is for the right class... but the boys are responsible for writing their name, class and period number on all their supplies (general supplies like colored pencils they just write their name on).

We do a mix, some personal and some community supplies.

I did finish my MK day finally! I can tell I hit a rut, some of the pages are pretty sad :rotfl2: Oh well! Need to get busy. Select softball try outs in a little while, plus my two older children will finally be home after a week with the in-laws. Missed them!

Michelle - good luck at the try outs, I miss my boys when they aren't here too but it isn't long before they return for me (only time they are away from me overnight is when I have something booked to keep me busy) I think when they go to the group home next summer I"m going to go nuts unless I find a new job really fast.

We had Richard's b-day party today - I"m proud of Richard, he hung out in the living room for most of the day & he blew out all of his candles by himself (first time for that usually it is 1 then he is done)
