Week before or after Thanksgiving? Why? Thanks

Week before Thanksgiving is alright but they'll be more decorations AFTER Thanksgiving and then the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Partys start AFTER Thanksgiving.

Looks like the week after Thanksgiving is very light.

I've done both and if I had to make a choice, I'd say the week after only because the parks will all be decorated for the holidays. The week before is still nice because the crowds are pretty low and the weather is great.

We regularly go the week after and the crowds are usually pretty light. The decorations are awesome!!!

We went 10 days before Thanksgiving, leaving the day after. The first half was great. But the crowds started the Sunday before.
My friend came as we were leaving and stayed for 8 days after Thanksgiving.
She said after the weekend the crowds were so low they didn't wait more than 5 or 10 minutes on a ride. The parks are all decorated for Christmas.
