we did that too! I definitely dont want to end up with so many snack and QS meal credits left (it was so hot, our appetites were down!) so this time I plan to use the snack credits more wisely. Mickey bars for all!!

However I am hoping the refillable popcorn buckets are still there and available for the length of stay still. My kids LOVE popcorn and that would be a cheap and easy snack instead of using a credit for a scoop of cheap popcorn

How does this work? My little one loves popcorn too! Buy one refillable bucket and refill for $? each time for the rest of your stay?

The thing that really caused us to end up with so many leftovers was that I was the only one who knew where the good snacks were! When I had just 1 or 2 kids with me, we would stop for a snack. Different kids with me got: a funnel cake w/ strawberry topping at Oasis Canteen (no longer a snack credit. ), Dole Whip floats, cinnamon rolls at Gastons (2 different times with different kids), and a cronut at Refreshment Port in Epcot. Poor dh, I think he only ever got a Dole Whip out of that list.

Hah! It'll be our first time on the dining plan for our last 6 nights so the snack budgeting will be new to me! I'm thinking now I will do a BOG PPO and just get drinks then head to Gastons for a cinnamon roll!

Right now yes - I think the plastic handled bucket was $10 and each refill
Is $1.50! I saw someone report on TO chat that they were even able to refill it with flavored popcorn somewhere in Epcot. Here's hoping!

It's through 10/31 right now. It I'm reallllllly hoping they extend it again! Plus the buckets are cute and my kids would reuse it at home for popcorn for sure!

Another issue we have with the dining plan is the amount of dessert. By the end of the trip we are like NO MORE DESSERT!!!! Dessert at each meal, plus snack credits? Even with all the walking pretty sure we gain a few lbs every Dis trip

I plan to swap my dessert for soup, at least at BOG. Or get something we could eat as a snack/breakfast later.

Last year I had to really pace myself. I was pregnant with DD2 and craving chocolate, so whatever chocolate dessert I could get my hand on, I ate.

This year, I plan to take a few bites of dessert, but that's about it.

Ok I really want an Ohana but we have a big party(10). I have one now for 5pm on the 28th but I can't get it to work with my other stuff, so I will probably drop it. Hoping to get one late on 11/29 or any time 30th.

Dessert for QS is taken away for 2017 and replaced with another snack credit from what I've read.

Joining all of you with medical stuff going on. Had laparoscopy today to check for endometriosis - none found! Staying in bed tomorrow and get to finish planning!

Prayers for a speedy recovery and praise God its not endometriosis!

OMG I just got a Res Finder text for a PPO BOG on 11/29 AND more amazingly it was still there when I tried to get it. Can't believe I snagged that one!
