Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

We have a 6:30 at Ohana on 12/2, but that gives us a LOT of time between dinner and the fireworks. Maybe we need to grab a drink and ride the monorail loop a few times to keep the kids entertained haha!

What time is Wishes that night? I know I could look it up but u guys are quicker than my Internet!

You can probably count on ohana running behind about 30 minutes if that helps. I would definitely hop on the monorail after and go take a look at the GF. :) Love that place!

10pm I think?? Maybe the youngest will crash in the stroller if we walk around the poly a bit. Doubt it but a girl can dream!

Looks like the latest on the Rumors of Light thread is a possible private showing on Nov 20 for D Destination guests? That's cutting it so close for our dates!

I feel like I'm over it now though. Disney has hyped this up so much they don't want to disappoint. So I could see why they might wait until 2017 to debut...to let people forget about it for a little while.

...and I booked Club Villian for 12/2 @ 8:15pm. :rolleyes1

I thought about it for a while and read many reviews. BTW good luck finding any bad reviews out there on it! I'm an introvert and DH is more of an extrovert. I think he will enjoy it more than me, but we'll see! Since we're only a party of 2, we'll be seated with 2 strangers. So hopefully they are fun to talk to.

I might have to put a temporary restraint on my rule of no dancing in public. :cool1: Though in truth that rule is there to protect the innocent bystanders.

It sucks that we still don't know. My schedule is still flexible and could account for a last-minute announcement. If ROL does happen with extended AK park hours, I'll give up my Flying Fish dinner. I'm starting to think I've scheduled too many "fancy" signature restaurants anyway. Now that I got a CRT that might be a keeper, I think I need to reevaluate.

Anyone know how Shop Disney Parks app work? Can you deliver to your resort?? (Sorry, Canadian here, can't download the app until I get to the US I think...)
I put something in my bag just to see, and an alert pops up that says "For Home Delivery and Resort Hotel Delivery Only", so I would say yes. Some items do say "Store Purchase Only" but they are usually food items or things with low inventory (such as the holiday apron that I feel I must have).

LOL, I have a feeling it'll be a love hate relationship with this app for me. I love this... no no, I can't buy it... hate... :rotfl:

Yeah really sucks they have not announced anything yet. I have a night set aside for it either way so I guess I'm not too worried about it... but still... all those ADRs I'm hoarding for that night... :rolleyes1

I'm very tempted to book the villain party.... I'm just not sure where it will fit into my schedule... 12/2 or 12/3 after JBJB

I feel like I'm still not ready to let go of some extra ADRs because I'm still moving things around. I honestly can't imagine how many times you guys that booked properly at 180+ days changed your plans. Just with park hours and things being announced like JBJB and club Villian....I have changed so many times!

12/2, with me, obviously...don't go straying from our conjoined plans now!

My reasoning was that MK is open late on 12/3 so we are hopping over there sometime after JBJB. Plus with doing the JBJB dessert party, I wouldn't want to do club villian any where around that since it has a buffet and desserts. Club Villian is my dinner that night.

I am over it too. I was so excited at first but my plans are so set now that unless it happened be on the right day it would be too hard to shuffle around anyway. unless someone says it is the best nighttime show they have ever seen then I am over it.

Yup. Not even planning to go back to AK at night.

Touring Plans just found me a 7:30 Cape May on 11/26! Now to decide what to do this day....

1. Cape May early breakfast then head to HS and stay through JBJB
2. rope drop HS and stay through JBJB
3. sleep in, swim, head to HS early afternoon and stay through JBJB
4. ???

4. Cape May early breakfast then head to HS for the morning, back to resort for a swim/rest, back to HS for JBJB

This is at the beginning of your trip, right? So you'll all still have energy and all that. Remind me, are you staying within the same time zone or will you have to adjust? That might play into what works best.

I like this choice as well :)

Same time zone. Only hesitation with going back is we are switching from BC to CBR that day....

Cape May is super fun. But if you already have a bunch of character meals planned may not be necessary. It was special for us last year bc it was a mommy/daughter impromptu breakfast.... It was expensive though. I think I paid $39 for breakfast for 1 adult since DD was 2 at the time..
