Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

We d

We did HS with H&V last year on Saturday after Thanksgiving. It was crowded but not terrible. I don't like crowds. We couldn't walk through Osborne lights bc of crowds but still stood at edge of street and enjoyed the show for a bit. I'm planning on HS that Saturday again this year. I'm thinking that JBJB may not be that terrible since the show is 9p? Either way I think you could grab a spot to enjoy the show. That's my plan anyways. :) We will either be super happy or super miserable!!
SWW and the 24 hour party are really the most crowded I've seen the parks. And they were miserable. It was also record breaking heat when I went so that added to the misery. I'm hoping for the best, but being realistic that we might not want to stick around for JBJB if things are crazy. We arrived Sunday after Thanksgiving last time and Osbourne was busy but not scary busy. Hoping some people leave to go home Saturday and spread out to the other parks.

1. Just focus on the resort crawl and not try to see Holiday Wishes at all. Would you even recommend pre-watching the Holiday Wishes like this? We are going to be at a MVMCP during our trip and get to see them up close and personal. Would I be kind of "spoiling" it for us if we see them from a .

I have been doing a lot of research about watching Holiday Wishes from Poly and this in particular struck me (it was a response from Disney Moms Panel): " Due to the many special surprises during the show, like 360-degree pyrotechnics, in some ways the experience may actually be better than standing on Main Street, U.S.A. as you'll be able to take in the full, stunning visual effects easier from afar. " So maybe that could be an option for viewing it without the ADR?

Thanks! Is that watching from the Poly beach area?

Ok I need to make this happen for holidays wishes! With or without the family!!

That would be more flexible. Can you hear the music?
From everything I read, sometimes you can, sometimes its just really quiet music. The speakers that are supposed to pipe in the music are closer to the path than the lagoon according to everyone's reports. I've never been to the beach so I can't picture it but storing all these tips in the memory bank for when I go!

Oh wow, that sounds amazing! I'm hoping we can make this happen after our 'Ohana ADR on Dec 1. We'll have to see how worn out we are by then.

We have a 6:30 at Ohana on 12/2, but that gives us a LOT of time between dinner and the fireworks. Maybe we need to grab a drink and ride the monorail loop a few times to keep the kids entertained haha!

So...CR, Wishes cruise, or just one of the beaches/spots at a monorail resort that doesn't require an ADR?

Well, we've never seen the show from California Grill, and I've read many times over that it's very worth it to try at least once. So we're sticking with that.

And just like you, we are doing desserts and drinks only. We have dinner at The BOAThouse at 5:30, so we won't have room for more.

I was hoping CV would be changed to a Star Wars event after Halloween. That would have softened the blow of losing SWAGS. Sigh...
