Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

For a hot second I contemplated booking EMM at HS on the 26th - the breakfast gets great reviews and TSMM and ST are favorites. If they would throw in another ride and less M&G's it would be way better though. I thought we could spend a few morning hours at DHS and eat, sign up for the first Jedi training while we are there then book it out of there and head back to the hotel until dinner later at disney Springs...

But we have EMH for DHS planned on Sunday and another morning there later in the week too. And EMM at MK seems more "magical" and I already dropped that out of guilt haha.

Maybe I will post on Facebook about how badly I want to do the MVMCP but shouldn't spend the money on it...then hope my MIL sees it and offers to buy tickets for us for Christmas

I mean, that's only mostly shameful right?

Speaking of Facebook, would anybody be interested in making a private group there once the trip gets closer? Might be easier to keep in touch while down there that using the boards... (or wait, is that even allowed to be discussed on here? maybe not! I've already had a post deleted for telling someone about the TP res finder today. I'm on a rule breaking roll over here...)

Without everyone talking about TP res finder, I never would have found my earlier H&V! I'm glad we have our little group so we can all go through Post Disney Depression together and share our pictures and memories so I'm completely game for a FB group

I am a nutball and am braving the crowds on Saturday. I figure it'll be so crowded the rest of our vacation comparatively will feel empty no matter what the crowd levels are. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

Me too. I've seen the crowds at Wishes during the 24 Hour party at MK two years ago so anything seems tame compared to that. Now THAT was chaos. They had pathways through the cast only area to move crowds around and you couldn't cross through Main Street, you had to walk ALL the way around the castle to get from Tomorrowland to Frontierland.

On Saturday, I am holding it open for ROL. If that isn't up and running, or if we can't get a FP for it, then we will just swim and hang out at the resort. We are now staying at AKL (yay!!!), so if we don't do the park, we will go to Boma that night. We should get to the resort around 3 PM. If we end up staying at the resort, I will cancel one day of ticket as well. Sheesh! So many "ifs"!

I think I have talked myself of going to Uni for a day. I did a bunch of calculations last night. I would have to drop the dessert parties, drop the extra TS we have booked. It is sooooooo expensive for a day. Had I planned differently I would have spent our first night at Uni on site and then maybe it would have been worth it.

So...we have friends that are coming down 11/1-11/5 and they're purchasing MM. Our trip is 11/27-12/3. So if we piggy backed with them, our pictures up to 12/1 would be available on their MM?

I'm braving HS on Saturday. We have a Fantasmic dinner booked. I guess I will pack a swim bag just in case we need to leave for a couple hours and go back to relax at BC. Or if the boys decide they're not interested in Jedi training, maybe we can have a lazy morning at BC and just head to HS in the afternoon/evening.
