Actually, as of last fall you could get smaller versions of the specialty sundaes at the to go window as well (like the No Way Jose and whatnot). I've also heard wonderful things about Ample Hills over at Boardwalk, so it might be worth it to walk over that way instead.

I vaguely remember something called a Mickey pants Sundae somewhere in MK...the plaza maybe? I thought the kids would like it but I couldn't find it on any menu.

Just called and changed our 5 day hoppers to 6 day hoppers...then got to looking at the difference in price for 7 day hoppers, because maybe we could just go to a park saturday night to see a show or something. Oh wait, its going to be insane in the parks on a holiday weekend. Nevermind!

Just called and changed our 5 day hoppers to 6 day hoppers...then got to looking at the difference in price for 7 day hoppers, because maybe we could just go to a park saturday night to see a show or something. Oh wait, its going to be insane in the parks on a holiday weekend. Nevermind!

I just found out about the Manaheim Steamroller concert at Universal, but it doesn't start until 12/3 which is currently scheduled as our last WDW park day. I went through some reconsidering this morning about not doing our 3rd day in a row at US, moving over to WDW as planned, but squeezing in another US day on 12/3. But I think I've decided it would mess up the whole flow and take away from our WDW park time too much.

It really is neverending though. I was late to start planning, but it never feels like it will be "final". haha

Do we think it will reopen the 2nd? That's my last MK day and I'll be so bummed to miss this

Last year I didn't get to ride pirates because it was down with issues ALL DAY. Now my other favorite ride? Ugh!!

Oh this is important news for sure! This is almost my entire WDW trip. I guess I will definitely have to get that in on our party night 11/27! Maybe more than once if possible. But I am tentatively planning time at MK on 12/3 too.

It is one of the few rides I remember well from my previous trips! I recall liking it. Hopefully that doesn't change as an adult. But I definitely want to get my husband on it since he has never been there.

I only can really remember Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Tiki Room (I'd sing that song all day annoying my entire family), Carousel of Progress, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain. I remember one day we went after Thanksgiving and rode Space Mountain over and over repeated because we loved it and there was no line! Seems those days are long gone. Ha

wdwmagic says it will reopen 12/2 so let's hope that's correct. I'll plan a FP for it when I book mine and hope it's an option

I just saw that about HM, I hope everyone can manage to get at least one ride before or after the closure! We'll be in the park on Sunday 11/27 so hopefully we can ride it then, though my DD really HATED that ride and is already balking about riding it this time, so she'd be happy if we missed it, lol.

Haha - I had DJS myself and ended up extending from 6 to 7 days just to go to Epcot on Saturday night. It will be insane, no doubt. DJS is insidious!
