Anyone use the MDE app? I just updated it and was wondering if it's easier or better.

In general, I'm much more comfortable using the website on my computer. I'll use the app when we're there and sometimes I use it when I'm in bed and want to check for a dinner reservation or something, but even if I found one I'd run to my computer to book it.

Trying to plan/decide a fast pass strategy. But I can not find an updated list of the rides that offer FP.they all still show maelstrom. Does anyone have a link for a good list?

YES. Crap yes. Baymax for sure. And I wasn't planning on Joy/Sadness but I think my kids will love it now. We've been on a inside out kick again here. Oy.

DD loves the "core memories". We definitely want to see joy/sadness if possible.

Ok so the castle lighting with all the Christmas lights - is there a set time that this happens? I can't seem to find any info on the WDW website about it (shocking) but would love to see it! I know it gets dark fairly early in December, so I'm trying to figure out what time to try and plan to be back at MK on the night we hop over. Anyone know?

6:15 and 7:30pm (6:15 and 8:20pm on Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights)


"A Frozen Holiday Wish" show will take place daily in front of the castle. Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf can be seen in the show and Queen Elsa's ice powers will transform Cinderella Castle into an ice palace. To create the effect, 200,000 twinkling lights draped on the towers and turrets.

I couldn't find it on WDW website either. It is listed on mouseforless.com and wdwinfo.com sites. I would think they are doing the same thing this year.

They also do the shows that are projected on the castle wall at night as well. When we walked by they were showing a winnie the pooh christmas clips. It was late so we opted not to stop and watch the entire show.

We're going down for my daughters birthday on November 28th. She is really into princesses, so we booked one of the princess rooms at Port Orleans. I originally didn't think I'd be able to get time off work during her birthday but I've managed to. She really wants to eat at Cinderella's Castle and Be Our Guest. I've been checking the Disney website a couple times a day everyday looking for reservation there on her birthday. If anyone has a reservation for Cinderella's or Be Our Guest on the 28th that they are going to cancel I would really appreciate if you told me. We're just a party of 2.

Hi! I'm not sure why I haven't found this group/thread before now so I'm a little late to the party! I am headed to Disney 11/26-12/4 with DH, and DD9. I just purchased tickets for MVMCP for 12/1 and EMM at MK on 11/29! We haven't been to Disney for almost 5 years and can't wait to see the World decorated for Christmas!

Me and my DH will also be at MVMCP on 12/1 and EMM on 11/29, as quite a few other people on here.

Try the reservation finder on Touring plans website. You can find 2 for free and if you are looking for just 2 people I am sure you will be able to find something. Also Akershus has a good princess breakfast if you can't get into CRT. Good luck!

I think they adjusted times a bit for MNSSHP this year, so just be sure to verify times once the official schedule for this year comes out.

Someone mentioned these on the dis somewhere - it's a cheap slap bracelet watch, I haven't seen them locally but I got this one on ebay for less than $2 shipped. It slides up the magicband. It's super cheaply made but I'm pleased with it, hopefully it'll last the week. I'm going to let the kids pick some if they want them, there are a ton of different characters around eBay.
