Week after Thanksgiving!!! Gather here!

Who is going the week after Thanksgiving?

I am already so excited I can hardly stand it!!

Hi! We are going 11/25 through 12/3 and staying at the AKL, when are you going and where are you staying? Have you been there at this time before?

We went the same week in 2005. It was WONDERFUL !!! Everything was decorated for Christmas and looked beautiful. There were no crowds, no waits for anything. Be sure to go to MVMCP one night(Choose an early weeknight for less crowds). You'll have a wonderful time.

We're going too!!

I told DH that we did not have to go to Disney this year....not but a month later I told him I "needed" to go!! I have a disease, I cannot help it!

Anyhow, we are taking our first November trip. We will be in Sarasota from 11/22-12/1 and in Disney/Universal 11/24-11/27. Still working on who is going (DH is a non Mickey lover)and for how long. Think I will go with ds11 and ds8 11/24-25 alone and DH and ds17 and ds13 will meet up for a day at Epcot and a day at Universal. Everything is still in the works.

I cannot wait either!! Just got my ticker up today so it is official!

We are so excited last time we went the week after Thanksgiving was 2001. We will be there 11/25 to 12/2 at ASSP. Just 312 days left. YEA!!!

We'll be there too- 11/25-12/1. Staying at Hilton in DTD on Hilton points. So excited!!! Even though we've been to Disney many times, this is our first during the holiday season. I am looking forward to seeing all the decorations and MVMCP!

11/25 - 12/2 POP Century.....our very first time staying at a resort and for longer than a day

I'm a little nervous taking the kids out of school (they'll be in 1st & 4th) but what the heck we don't this every year! No way could I be comfortable in the Summer Orlando heat

We'll be at POR that same week. We went this past Nov. for the first time at that season and loved it. We were pleasantly surprised at how low the crowds were at that time. It just seems sooooo far off right now, but hey, gives us something to look forward to.

I'm SO happy to hear you say this! I read another poster's opinion of the crowds during the week after Thanksgiving '06, and they said the crowds were terrible. I couldn't imagine why, but it worried me. (Maybe he/she is just trying to scare people away from his/her favorite week?)

I have reservations for the WL (11/27-12/4), but I am going to try to change them to 11/25 - 12/2 this morning. I can't wait!

Well, I guess it subject to personal opinion, but we had been going in Oct. for the past 4 years and find the week after Thanksgiving less crowded. In fact we love it so much we just added another day, we're now 11/25 - 11/30. Also keep in mind that value season starts on 11/25 and there's a significant difference from regular season, you might want to change to 11/25.

Count us in...the Duncan 4! November 26-Dec7 at CSR!!! We were there the same time last year only at POFQ. We will definately do the MVMCP! ! Sadly no DDP this year too $$ with daughter at the delicate age of 10 being an adult. Come on Nov!!

I keep telling myself "don't be afraid to fly" but it's not working
Friends are telling me to get medicated
So I really think we're either going to drive down from NJ or take Amtrak.

If we're driving down we'll probably leave around 3 or 4am and stop for the night around 7-8pm.

digskat - My DD2 is going to be 10 when we get there too....If you can share why you don't think the DDP is right for you guys? This will be our first time using it.
