Week after easter week???

I'm thinking about leaving home on the Wed. after Easter Sunday and staying until the following Wed. This would only have my DD missing 3 days of school. My reasoning for this: we would be there Thurs-Sat during Easter week, then people would be heading home on Sat or Sun and then it would be less crowded for the remainder of our trip. Does anyone think this is a good idea? Or will it be just as crowded? Or should I just stay the entire week of Easter with the crowds? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think it will still be busy. Many schools in the New England area have the third week of April off and you will be there when they start to appear. It will not be as busy as Easter week itself, but still not empty

I was there the last week of April.
Sun-Wed the crowds were managable.
By Thurs - Sat the crowds doubled but we made good use of fastpass!
