Weebles or Little People?

I have (3) buy one get one free Weebles 2 pack coupons. They are on sale at Target for $5.04 (usually $5.99). I want to get either Weebles or Little People for DS for Christmas. I thought the coupons would make the decision easy until I went to Target. First, they only had one 2 pack of Weebles, and no activity sets. But they had tons of Little People Activity Sets. They had the airplane, car wash, house, tractor, etc. They all look like so much more fun than the Weebles. DS will be 19 months at Christmas, what do you think?

We had a bunch of Little Peoples sets for our kids that they never played with. Yet at 7 and 4 they were still playing with the Weebles this morning. So while I though Little People would be a better purchase, it turns out my kids like the Weebles better.

We Love the little people. My girls loved them so much. We have the doll house the farm, Noah's ark, playground, airplane, bus and more it was a whole bin full. They played with them so much. i would recommend them any day!

FP Little People are so much better that Weebles.

You can forever add to your FL Little People family. Like start out with the farm.....preschooler favorite. The add house, maybe castle, camper, etc.

My personal favorite is Main Street.

Now FP makes Little People for ALL seasons. Like there is a Nativity Set(that I would LOVE to get), a whole Halooween village, a Spring set....with easter egg hunt.

There are sets for boys & girls.....although being a mom of both genders I can tell you that it didn't matter who played with what.....but I can tell you that they were played with every single day.

My youngest is 8 and every once in a while I'll bring down the Little People and all 5 kids (ages 8-16) play with them.

My DD 3 plays with her Little People animals every day. She even sleeps with one every so often. Weebles aren't very open-ended and don't come in many varieties. I would use the coupon for the free Weebles for novelty (Walmart will price match Target it you bring in the ad and they might have more choices), but when it comes to buying large sets, I would stick with Little People. The Weebles can play in a Little People playset.

DS is 15 months and he LOVES his Little People sets. He will play with them for an hour at a time. We don't have any Weebles...

My boys never really played with their Weebles. They had much more play out of their little people.

My kids loved their Little People. My youngest plays with them regularly, and sometimes, even my 8-year-old still gets them out to play with.

Definatley Little People. We had Weeblos when DD was 2 and she loved them for about 1 1/2 years. The Little People are still played with all the time and DD is 6 now. We have the airport, city, firestation, house, van, farm, bus and zoo.

Another vote for Little People. My 2 kids love them, and they have loved them since they were babies. We have so many Little People toys and sets that I had to buy a giant container to fit them all in. My daughter who is almost 6 and my son who is 3 will spend hours playing together setting up all of the people, animals and sets. We plan to buy them more for Christmas! They really are a timeless toy

I am an adult but as a tike I played with my lp more than my weebles. I have seen same treand with my nieces and nephew.

My DD5 and DS4 love their Little People. We have the zoo mat, castle, noah's ark, nativity, farm, and dino set. We used to have the nursery school mat, too, but they didn't like that one.

Anyway, the zoo mat and castle are their favorites. They are nice toys and can stand a lot of love.

I used to make designs with them all in the playroom for my daughter to see when she woke up (I was at work).

i'd have them all face in a line, or on her Kangaroo climber, or in circles, or spell out I love you. She got a kick. Then we'd put them in a line so we could walk between them and used them as a path.
