So i have read of people dying their petticoats/Crinoline to match their wedding colours

I was just wondering has any one done this for their shoes i am finding it quiet hard to find nice shoes for my bridesmaids and i wanted them to have choose their own (for comfort and what they like look of best) but i wanted them to be the same colour

is there any chance i can do this if i buy their shoes in white/ivory

i think only certaim shoes can be dyed, alot of the shoes in the bridal shops can be dyed

I got my girls shoes from next and they were pink and I got the same colour but different style, they were from thier occasion range and my girls loved them

You would have to purchase dyeable shoes. You can check out Davids Bridal. They have a large assortment with different heel hights. I did not get my dress at Davids but I did get my shoes there. They were dyeable but I kept them white. Here is a photo.

My girls wore three different dresses from the Alfred Angelo line in claret. Two were to the knee and one was a gown. I told them all they had to do was wear silver sandals. I did not care about the heel height. Here is a photo of me and my girls. You can kind of see the shoes on the two on the end. One girl already had silver sandals and as far as the other two - they got ones they liked and a silver sandal is something you wear again.

Hi Hun-

Have you tried this site? http://www.rainbowclub.co.uk/ It's recommended by loads of wedding mags.... My maids are contemplating getting their shoes from there as we're having difficulty sourcing Emerald Green shoes!

There is also a brand of shoes called "Dyeables", and just like the name states, all of the shoes are dyeable. I've never looked for them in retail stores, but I know Amazon, Endless, and their own website sell them.

Thanks every one I dont think David Bridal ship to the UK but thank you

Thanks for the site Bob just having a look at it now

And thanks for that Gemma that is worth knowing
