Wedding Registries

My cousin's daughter is getting married this Nov. I just got the invite yesterday. She's just registered at Macy's. I wish she had other stores, the things she wants at Macy's are $80. or more. Some are around $300. lookes like I will have to go in with my sister on this one.

Why dont you just send a gift card from Target? If they gotten the stuff already on their registry they can always by the essentials, like cleaning supplies for their new home.

What about a Home Depot card, if you know where they are living? Best Buy?

Did you try checking for variations on the spelling of their names at Target? If they started one registry with an error, then went back looking for it later and couldn't find it, started a new one with the correct name? Its a possiblity. You never know. Sometimes couples will start to register online and then go into the store and start over. So they will end up with two different registries. You could be looking at one that they didn't intend to do. Ive been to enough weddings where I have seen the couple have up to 3 registries at the same store. They made errors and started over, or she started one and then they went together. I would definately try variations on their names too.

I had the same problem as you....friend's DD is getting married and the only registration I could find was at Target. However, Target only listed on their website the items they were registered for that were available online only. I took a chance and went to the store and printed out the registry. Lo and behold, they were registered for a lot more and most of the items were actually in the store and not "online only." Maybe that will work for you also. Good luck!

Accidently, yes. I couldn't even remember how to spell my cousins name. (Like I said, we aren't close :rotfl: )

I finally just did the default first two letters of his first name and found it.

Hmmm... maybe check out the more high-endish stores? Tiffany's, Fortunoff's, Bloomingdale's, Sur la Table...

Wouldn't it be hysterically ironic if they were registered at Target and Tiffany's? :lmao:

If theya re registered at Tiffany's I think I'll be getting them a Target gift card. :rotfl:

Try Home Depot or Lowes....That is really popular these days.....They may have even registered for their mortgage (you make a gift deposit in an account) or for a vacation (honeymoon)

I'm not sure what part of NE, but I would try Fortunoffs too. I know alot of brides in our area feel they "have" to register there. Personally, I'm more a Target girl myself :lmao:

For the SF Bay Area, try:
Williams-Sonoma, Macy's Nordstrom, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Gump's, Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, Sur La Table.

Then, call his family or send a Target GC.

Maybe they wanted to be thoughtful to the guests by offering wider price range?;)
