Well, just when I had EVERY detail planned out, seems Uncle Sam changed all that!
That being said, it put a huge wrench in our plans. We had to decide what was THE most important thing. Exchanging our vows, hands down.
In the end, it won't matter where we exchange vows, we just want to be with close family & a few friends. Soooo, PLAN B it is! We're having an intimate dinner, at a lovely Italian restaurant. Their giving us their private room, an AMAZING menu for our guests to choose from and there are some great photo ops there. We'll say our vows as planned, exchange rings and enjoy a lovely meal with family & a few friends.
We decided to take professional wedding pictures 2 weeks prior to the "ceremony", at Duke Gardens, which are GORGEOUS! So we'll get to do all the things we wanted, which is imporant. Now...for the GREAT news! I had to call my mother & sister in CA and tell them. This means, there was no reason for them to fly all the way here, to go to dinner with us!
My mom said, "You know, I already budgeted the plane ticket and time off, IF you don't mind, maybe we can meet you girls in Disney World?" Ahhh, hello??? YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where do you think I get my love of Disney? Mom!!
So, they found a great deal, and will bring my 6 year old niece. It really WILL be, an all girls trip!

I am over the moon about this. The last time we were ALL in Disney World, was 1979!! We've since been to DL lots of times, but not the 3 of us!! That was the trip that started it all for us. My mom worked overtime for a year, to take her 2 daughters to Disney. Now, we're taking our 2 daughters and my sister is bringing her only daughter!!
This will indeed, be a very MAGICAL trip for us!
So, PLAN B has turned out to be amazing. No, not how I imagined it to be, but sooo much better than I ever dreamed!
Let the planning begin!
Chris
