Wedding Photography

My Fiance has been looking at planning a small wedding for basically family only. May 2015.
First it was an Escape Wedding then possibly the Swan and Dolphin Wedding package. She really wanted to be able to wear her dress in the park during a dessert party. But from the minimal information she has gotten from phone calls to Disney, no lack of effort on her part, made her believe we could only get pictures taken in the park without doing the Wishes Wedding package.
With that out of the way, it brings me to why i am asking for help for her. We want to get decent photos of the wedding day but are not from the area, we are from central PA, and are not sure who people would recommend for the photography.
Do those that have done a Swan and Dolphin wedding or some other event have recommendations for who they used for photography? The websites for the photographers? What their package included?

All that info would be great and put her at quite a bit of ease.

Hello. You can find a list of popular disney photographers at magicaldayweddings.com. Some names I know are popular are Regina Hyman, David and Vicki Arndt, Randy Chapman, Root Photography, and Misty Miotto. They all have different packages and range in price.

First off--I could be wrong...but I believe you can do your wedding attire in the park for your dessert party, but ONLY if you have your wedding through Disney Fairytale Weddings. It doesn't matter if it's a Wishes or an Escape--but you need to have the ceremony itself through DFTW. I'm not certainly about the Memories collection.

If you want something cheaper...Swan & Dolphin is the way to go. I seriously considered them, but my fiance and I decided that we REALLY wanted castle pictures and Epcot pictures (also not available unless you book a wedding through DFTW).

Photographers...if you go through Swan & Dolphin, I think they pretty much use Regina Hyman when possible (who used to actually photograph for DFTW). I LOVE her work, but we ultimately went with Root Photography.
