Now that I have everyone's attention...What could the groom and I do on that memorable evening? i've had a few suggestion such as a cruise, a spa We are in our mid-forties and getting married Dec 2nd at the yacht club.

We re having a Wishes Cruise, to me thats the most perfect way of ending our first day of being married. Plus im a sucker for Wishes, always makes me cry;)

You're a day after me! I'm December 1 @ Sea Breeze Point. A bunch of us disbrides are meeting for drinks around that time. You should join in!

After dinner/reception we're debating a desset party or if we might just ask everyone to meet us on the boardwalk to watch fireworks from Epcot.

Meeting with Disbrides would be very memorable lol. :rotfl:

LOL, no really that would be neat. Are you hoping for something with just the two of you or your entire family. Either way, I think a cruise would be amazing! Maybe you would not want to leave WDW. Maybe a carriage ride?

Hmmmm?

How about dinner at The Cali Grill to watch WIshes? Or Dinner at V&A if you're a fan of a fancy dinner, followed by fireworks either at the GF, on the beach at Poly or a Wishes cruise

Does anyone have a link to where you can register or see prices for the wishes cruise? It sounds great!

We had a window seat at the California Grill (during Wishes) and then had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries on our patio at the Grand Floridian.

We are having an Illuminations dessert party and then we are going back to the Royal Asante Suite at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We thought going back to a nice suite would be the perfect ending.

I plan on having the suite decorated with rose petals and having some champagne waiting for us.

That's what we're doing, but we're going to be eating the massive amounts of cake that evening afterwards. Our night is a MNSSP night so they're having special fireworks that night. Apparently you can see the fireworks really well from the Cali Grill and they play the music from the fireworks in the restaurant.

I looked up Dec 2nd and that night they're having Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party, where they also have special fireworks. It might be fun and special if you do that!

Wow, I'll say! The Royal Asante Suite sounds fantastic Skylarr29!! ::yes:: Do you have a PJ? If not, PLEASE start one! :worship:

I don't have a PJ. I should start one lol!

I think I am more excited about the suite than the wedding. I have ALWAYS wanted to stay in that suite for my wedding night and now we are staying in it the night before the wedding and our wedding night!

Wow. I need to know more about this! We're staying at AKL and we're SO excited! :goodvibes

If you go 2: suite disney dot com you can see photos of the room. There might be some on all ears as well.

I am not sure if you can upgrade to it... I would think that the availability would be limited because there is only one. The room is $2,874.37 a night. You can use a wedding discount if you add it to your room block but I already had it booked and I would have had to cancel the room and pray that I got it back so I just kept it at the regular rate. At least I will make commission off it since I am a TA lol!

The night of our wedding we are planning on inviting everyone to come with us to Jelly Rolls. We are inviting 50 people and if they want to come great if not then we expect them to miss out on a great time. We are not having a reception with music and dancing until we get back home to Maine. We figured it would be so much fun to have our family and friends around us for the whole day :)
