Thanks a million!!!

I also make them but I'm traveling this week. If you don't find one you like this week...send me a pm next Monday and I can make one for you with hidden mickey's.

I never got a pm from you and was curious if you had found something you liked or if you were still needing a monogram. If you like this one please don't quote it as it takes up linking space that I can't delete. Also, make sure you save it as I clean out my photobucket weekly to make room for new requests. There is are two mickey heads and a carriage hidden in the DISign.

I have one other DISign if you want something a little less elaborate.

So glad that you liked it! I can't wait to see what you do with it. If you need any help...just let me know. I love to make party things.

Dolly, what font did you use for the names?
Renaissance - I'm pretty sure it is on www.dafont.com

Dolly and Natalie - those are just beautiful. You both never cease to amaze me!

Dolly:

I'm sure i will take you up on your offer to make other things! :yay:

I am trying to make alot of things for my wedding so i can spend money on other things.. like cinderellas coach.. ha ha i neeeeeeeeed to have that :)

I am actaully going to order stamps with your logo on it to put on the wedding invitations so as soon as i get them i will post a pic for ya!

then im gonna also put it on a water bottle label that is going to go in my welcome bags!

Natalie:

I'm gonna use yours too just came up with 2 ideas for dollys design first :) I'll post my creation for you too !!!

Thanks girls!!!!!!!
Lisa

You could also use it for a candy bar wrapper. Which would go well with the water bottle in your Welcome Bag. You could also make wine tags for either miniature wine or champaigne bottles. Since you are trying to pinch pennies for cinderellas carriage...you could just put the wine/champaigne bottles in your parents welcome bags as a special "thank you".

Okay...there are sooo many things you can make for the Welcome Bag. Mint matchbooks, aspirin pouches, a mini sewing kit (super easy to make one yourself by buying a spool of thread in different colors like black and white...then you wind the different colors around a piece of cardstock...I have a template somewhere for this), hummm...what else is there...

You could also make door hangers for the knobs of the hotel room doors.

You can make labels for mini hand sanitizer.

Found a pic of the mini sewing kit:

Instead of killing yourself trying to make a bunch of printables...invite your bridesmaids/maid of honor over for a fun "crafts" night. Have some finger foods (eat before you craft!) and drinks...get a girlie movie (something with a wedding theme like "Maid of Honor" with Patrick Dempsey, "Father of the Bride", "My Best Friends Wedding", "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past", "The Notebook", etc.) and spend the night making your water bottle labels, candy bar wrappers, etc. Make sure that you have several scissors and plenty of double sided tape. The scotch brand of double sided tape at Walmart (it has a yellow cover) works well for these projects.

Know that they may not be a perfectionist like you, but it is okay...the ones that can't cut a straight line can make the sewing kits and wrap the thread around the piece of cardstock and double tape the buttons, or wrap the nuggets. Make sure you have everything printed before they come over. You wouldn't want to have ink and/or printer problems after they show up to where you aren't able to use their help. Also, check pricing to see if it is cheaper to have them printed at a print shop or at home with your own ink. If you make everything you will probably use an entire color and black ink cartridge. So when you start printing...make sure you have replacement cartridges. For my printer that is around $50.

Send out a cute "e-vite" to save a little on money and tell them to bring scissors, paper cutters and bone folders (if they have them). Most girls love to do arts and craft so this could be a fun evening for all. Leave a few things that you don't have them make so that there will be a few surprises in their welcome bag.

I couldn't resist...here are a couple of templates for you...just in case you want to make them.
If you like them please don't quote as it takes up linking space in my photobucket I can't delete and make sure you save them as I clean out my photobucket weekly.

Sewing Kit - Print on cardstock. Include a few colors of thread, safety pin, needle, buttons (optional):

Water/Wine Bottle Tag - Print on cardstock. Then trim out and fold on the dotted line:

Candy Bar Wrappers - This should be printed on glossy brochure paper (fairly expensive) or regular copy paper. It should measure 5.25 x 5.5 inches and is meant for a regular milk chocolate hershey bars.:

Natalie's image are perfect for Hershey Nuggets. Print these on Avery Label 8160. These labels are the perfect size for Hershey Nuggets (not minis). Run a trail print on regular paper and lay over the labels to make sure every lines up okay before you waste a bunch of labels.

Bag Topper - You can print multiples of these on one page of cardstock:

Aspirin Pouch - This is for their day(s) at the parks. Print on cardstock. Buy individual packets of aspirin to go in these pouches. Maybe Sam's sells them...

Just for fun...if you want to go an extra mile...put baskets in the restrooms for your guests during the reception. You can include a stain stick or stain wipes, hand sanitizer, aspirin, lotion, hand wipes, a few sewing kits (if you make them), safety pins, breath mints (I can make wrappers for those too, etc. Here is a poem to go with it:

So happy you are here to share in our special day
But should something happen to go astray,
Please help yourself to the contents within,
Wet wipes, hand lotion and even aspirin.
Use only what you need and leave the rest,
It may also be useful to another guest.
So repair the damage that may have been done,
Then hurry on back and join in the fun!

Compliments of the Newlyweds!

I can't wait to see pictures from what you make! Don't feel like you have to use these...I was just having fun playing with the monogram to see what I could make with it and Natalie's design.

I LOVE candy buffets. I threw a surprise party for my twin last year and had my first candy buffet. People loved it! I have a word document with ideas for candy buffets if you want me to email it to you...send me a pm with your email. In the same pm...send me some details about your wedding like colors, names, date, location (if you want it in the monogram) and what you are wanting your monogram to look like. If you can look up the RGB code for the colors you want to use. There are a million shades of every color and it makes it sooo much easier for me to figure it all out. Google "rgb color codes" and you will be able to find colors and the rgb code to match.

Dolly:

HI! I was just working on printing items with your logo and had a quick question..

there seems to be a light pink backgroud on the logo.. when its on the screen it seems to be white but when i print it it does not blend with the paper... so the logo stands out and does not blend in..

am i doing something wrong? im new to this so was not sure if maybe i saved the file wrong or something..

Thanks! :)
Lisa

Ps. Im gonna pm you for the candy buffet info too! we are thinking of doing that at the end of the wedding :)

Is it on everything I made or just the logo?

i was working with the bag topper, candy bar and logo.. i can print the others too and see.. but those are the three i started with :)

the logo has a real light pink behind it so when it prints it does not blend in with the paper.... and on the candy bar and bag topper it also has the same pink behind it.. its a different color than the actual background so it stands out by itself

thanks! :)

I think I fixed them and emailed them to you. Try those and let me know if they work better. Thanks!

The templates that I used to insert your logo all had different shades of white from the logo background which made it slightly different. Hopefully it is fixed.
