This is an imagination exercise for all you garden nuts!

Design your wedding bouquet.....it can be any flower in your garden, any flower at all. But it must be from your garden!

And, obviously.....not just white.....(psssstttttt.....just imagine....we're all doing a "casual wedding").

I'll check back later to see what you've dreamed up.

Tell me why you've chosen the flowers you do!

I have always wanted a wildflower bouguet...just bunches and bunches, wrapped with a wide ribbon with the ends of the ribbon hanging down to the floor.

I had white roses...how dull...hey, I was 22 and didn't know what the heck i wanted.

Good question Gina! :)

You know, the scary thing is I can't even remember what flowers I had in my bouquet when I got married.......too long ago!

I only have red roses in my garden, but how about something like this?

Martha says it's a good thing! :) ;)

I had camillias in my bouquet....just camillias.....so beautifully scented!

Now if I had my druthers......I would do bright red daylillies from my front yard, black eyed susies from my back yard, blue balloon flowers and, though, out of season....my carlissi viburnum for a wonderful scented bouquet!

Well.... since it is flowers from my garden (and I assume I can pretend they are actually currently in bloom!)... I would probably pick a bouquet of my pink tea roses mixed with sprays of dark pink fairy roses and some sprigs of my baby's breath. I use this combo alot for bouquets... and it would make an enchanting wedding bouquet.

(sigh) I can't wait for the roses to bloom. :)

Its spring, guess I'll do a spring bouquet. Seeing I've made 2 of my 3 DD and DIL bouquet I've learned from my mistakes.

Fillers: Pachysandra, Ivy and 1" wide ribbon
Flowers: White Wisteria, Pale Pink Magnolia, Narcissum, Pink and White Tulip and Baby's Breath.

You could change the flowers with the seasons.

I'd use the peonies that I got from my mom's yard. Hopefully, they will bloom this year and I will see if I got the pink or the red or the white ones. If they don't bloom, then, I guess I would be walking down the aisle with peony buds! (The buds are much bigger this year than last year. I think they will be blooming this time around). *crossing fingers*
