I am thinking about my wedding favours, I have toyed between lots of ideas and quite like the idea of the mickey head crispies that you can buy in the bakery's at Disney - Does anyone know how much these cost and if I can order them in advance to ensure that they will have them (only need 30 but would want them all the same) I was going to put them in clear bags with a label so that they can double up as place cards.

Or...does anyone have any other ideas that are not to expensive, as I really cant decide!!!:worried:

That sounds like a great idea!

I don't know how you'd pull it off, but it's a great idea!;)

You might try calling WDW Merchandising at 407-363-6200 or email them at wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com.

You can also try a personal shopping service like laughingplacestore.com but that might be expensive.

Lastly, I suppose you could post a request on the Theme Parks board for a WDW local or someone going soon that you can send them money and see if they will send you back what you need. That requires a good bit of trust though...

We did custom M&M's. We were able to pick colors and multiple sayings to have put on them. They pre-wrapped them in little packages (we were able to pick the color of the ribbon). All you would have to do is tie the name cards on the ribbons. They might be cheaper than the Mickey ears and they are adorable!

I think you could have them done through disney..doing them yourself I'm sure you could make your own and just bring them down. See how much disney charges....if its cheaper to just make them I would do that....you could ship them down to disney if your flying down and won't have room to pack them.

Mmmm, I love those!!! It's never the same when I make them myself. :(

I know that Disney Floral has things like Mickey chocolates and has lots of welcome packages with junk food. Maybe you might want to ask them.

This probably wouldn't be cheaper, but I know starbucks carries the krispy treats sometimes, and they taste almost exactly the same. Maybe you could use those?

hmm...I thought about the M&M's but just have no imagination and have not a clue of the quantities I would need.

Am also looking at the small personalised cases of wine that you can buy but again.........I JUST CANT DECIDE!!!!!!!!

I wish that sometimes someone could just tell me what to do so I didnt have to worry about making the right decision.

With the M&M's you can order 20 small bags (1.7 oz each) for about $80. The minimum is 20, you can order more than that. You said in your original post that you needed 30 Mickey rice treats...the M&M's would be $119.70 for 30 (and you can sometimes find a coupon/code for a discount).

I guess it depends on what you want to spend...

This is what our M&M's looked like:

We just put our names and date on them...you can pick colors to match your wedding colors or pick "pre-mixed" colors...Check out the website:

Hope that helps some!

we looked at the mickey rice treats in the bakery in downtown disney. I was going to buy them there and give them to my planner at the rehearsal.

orangetiggs, I dont suppose you can remember roughly how much they cost?

I think if I can find out all the info and cost it will make my decision the tinyest bit easier :rotfl:

We're doing this! When we arrive we're off to get them done ~ I have labels and bags ready. I think they are $3 each but I could be wrong.

We did this! We ordered Mickey Krispie Treats through Disney Floral and provided them with labels to put on them, so they could be used as place cards. We also did luggage tags ordered through them as well. I will try to look at my BEO when I get home tonight to see the price and I'll post some pics. It's softball/hockey night in my house so not sure if I'll have time, but if not tonight, I'll do it tomorrow. I really wanted them somewhere at the wedding and had thought about having them put out a number of them with coffee/dessert. It ended up being cheaper to order the wrapped ones through floral than a platter through my planner. They did have some in the stores, but I didn't see a lot of Mickey Head shaped ones, just other spring shapes. I'm sure they're around, but I was trying not to look for them cause I knew they were cheaper.

Here is the Krispies and our luggage tags, as well as our table cards. I made the cards and labels on photoshop and ordered the Krispies and Luggage Tags through Laura. We'll have to look up cost at home.

The Luggage Tags were a really thick bendable rubber type plastic and available in about any colour you could want. We thought the traditional black was the best. They were a minimum 100 order and were $3.95 each. We had thought about putting labels on them to use as place cards as well.

The Krispies were $4.00 and came wrapped and with the ribbon. We added the label to make it a placecards. They were a great snack throughout the night.

Both were small and easy to transport for our guests.

We are giving everyone two day park hopper passes for the length of their stay, Mickey ears, and mugs from the hotel they're staying at. So we're probably staying at Coronado Springs, and we'll get them the mugs from the eatery so they can get free drinks whenever they want. Plus, the mugs from our Disney trips have always been special in our family; we have one we've used for 18 years and the handle broke a few weeks ago and I swear I almost cried lol. It is some of our family's first stay at Disney so we hope they'll enjoy the mugs too. I might include some Mickey shaped pretzels depending on the kind of job I have. OH, and a pin of the Coronado Springs resort. But that's what we're doing for 'favors'. I am also having lavander at my wedding so I will probably include sachets in their basket so it smells good. We're having a very small wedding.
