You look very "Belle-like" in this dress! Beautiful!

I haven't been able to try anything on yet because I'm deployed until September but I have looked at a LOT of dresses on line and have two that I love.

They're completely different but I am really in love with both of them!:lovestruc

Went shopping today for the first time with my future MIL and ordered my wedding dress!!!! I'm so excited. I can't stop thinking about and can't wait to try it on in my size since the sample was 10 sizes too big and didn't look very flattering because of it, but the dresses I did try on in my size looked good on me, they just weren't "me." im not going to post pictures because I am keeping the dress a total surprise from everyone except the future MIL and I know the fiancee lurks these boards. If I'm going to be anal about anything as a bride, it's making sure he has no idea what it will be like. All I'll tell him is that it's white ;) I just wanted to let everyone know... I can't stop thinking about it and just want to rush back to the store to put it on again :D Guess that means I made the right decision!

You all look so lovely! I'm a wedding gown junkie, even after being married 26 years. Best wishes to you all!

My sentiments exactly!! Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only lurker that's subscribed to this thread just because I LOOOOOVE wedding dresses!

I can play along! I found my dress at a secondhand shop. It's a little small so don't mind the top; it will look a lot better once i get it altered! I luuuuurve it!

It's lovely:))

My best friend and I were just at our local thrift store this past week and I was shocked to see how many nice (not outdated at all) wedding dresses there were there!

This thrift store had this dress in the window, which caught my eye (was not out looking to buy a wedding dress that day), and when I got in there were about 4-5 other wedding dresses which were NOT my style at all. But still, "vintage" stores can be a great resource for a bride on a budget.

I had bought a dress from David's Bridal. It was something I settled on because of the price. Then when the Disney dresses came out I HAD to try them on. So early July I went and tried them on. Fell in love! Even though it's twice as much as I spent on my original dress (which now I'm trying to sell) it will SO be worth it.

It's Belle's dress, diamond white. I'll post pictures when it comes in.
Here is the original dress though. I bought it with a white sash
