Just curious to see what wedding colors people had at their weddings? I am up in the air right now. I am concerned colors of dresses and decorations won't match well. My dress has champagne in the gown. Here is the link:

My flower girls are wearing tinkerbell constumes! They are so cute!
I love the color blue but am worried all those colors are going to look crazy!! I also like color wine (deep red color)

Any suggestions?

Please post the color schemes you picked. Thanks :earsgirl:

I went with Pink - my dress was blush pink and my BM's were Fuschia Pink.

We went with purple, as it is both DH and I's fav color.
My best friend is getting married next june and her colors are pink and brown.

I would say to do something where the green (tinkerbells) will not look out of place. Red may be a bad choice... may look christmas-y. But I think blue would look very nice, especially if it is a jewel-tone blue, not a navy or baby blue.

I had hunter green and white with touchs of yellow.

We did shades of lilac - my BM and MOH wore victorian Liliac, and the jr bridesmaids wore lilac. I agree with Davids-Coco, you should try to pick a color that coordinates with the tinkerbell costumes.

I am choosing a dark jewel like royal blue (Don't know the name for the exact shade), and some subtle touches of silver (like jewelry and bowties and so on). It will be the bridesmaids dresses. It is my fav color, and I thought it might bring out the color of my eyes, and would sort of match the theming of "Ariel's" without doing an "under the sea theme". Also, it's a wedding. Gotta have something borrowed and something blue, right? :)

We got married last Oct. and went with a fall color scheme...deep red, gold, and then we had a bit of Ivory

Our wedding colors are purple and silver. My maid of honor is wearing a Victorian Lilac/Lilac gown from David's Bridal. Our chair covers are gorgeous--they are going to be white "crushed romance" covers with lilac "crushed" sashes. Our napkins are lilac "crushed" napkins tied with a silver ribbon. When I was at Franck's, they had an example of the crushed chair cover/napkin and it was just beautiful!! We're also going to have purple flowers strewn around the base of our wedding cake. I'm so excited :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I used sage (David's calls it Peridot) and pale pink, with some fushia (mainly in the flowers-Stargazers). It sounds a little odd, but it worked well. The bridesmaid dresses were the sage and the flowergirls/jr. bridesmaid wore a dress that was white on top and pale pink on the bottom...Loved it!

For your dress, I think the wine color would be beautiful. You could also have them in the champagne, but you wouldn't stand out as much, and that's definitely what you want! With the tinkerbelle costumes it may be more difficult to match anything. I had that problem with flowergirl dresses-nothing is made in that color for little girls!

Where can I find these tinkerbell costumes? Does anyone have other suggestions for the flower girls? :earsgirl:

When are you getting married? If it's in the spring or summer, check Easter dresses at dept. stores. They can be a great alternative price-wise! Ours were originally 60 at dillards, but wound up being only 30 since we got them after Easter and they are VERY wedding-y!! They even had tons of cute solid white ones.

We are actually having a double ceremony (my brother and his fiance' will be joining us). We picked red and black. What can I say, we love Mickey!!!

We are doing lilac & celadon/sage.

My dress is red and white and the guys wearing read and black and girls will be wearing red :)

Becasue it is at christmas time it should match well with the decorations at Disney!

My wedding will be Christmas themed as well. Using the red, white, green colors mostly. With some gold in there as well. I have no bridemaids, it's all guys (i have 3 brothers and we are having a small wedding). So all the guys have black tuxes with dark green vests and red rose boutinerres (sp?). I have picked out most of my decorations for the wedding and they are all Christmas as well (with a few exceptions). Good luck with everything!!

Have A Disney Day Everyone!!!

We're doing an October or November wedding (we're waiting to see where we can get a hall on this short notice!) and our colors are pink, white and black. DFiance is not to thrilled with the pink, but he knows its my favorite color so he's willing to work with it, all her cares is that his tux is white.

We are having a Christmas Theme since our VR is in December. It's going to green, gold and red (some plaid with those colors too!). My dress is red, so I went with my maid of honor as Gold and haven't decided on tux's yet.

My opinion is not to worry too much about the tinkerbell flowers girls matching everything if it's what you want. They will be adorable! It is virtually impossible to match all colors to your site, reception, etc. If blue is your favorite color, I think it would be beautiful with the dress you picked. Since your wedding is in summer, that would be a beautiful, light color.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I think I am going with a deep blue...i will have to see.
Someone asked about tinkerbelle costumes....the disney website has the princess costumes. I was first thinking cinderella costumes for flowergirls, but i love tinkerbelle.

Thanks everyone.

I got a lot of raised eyebrows on my color scheme that I did that was before anyone saw it, but it was beautiful. My bridesmaids worn simple dark purple dresses, and I used all red and black magic roses, with silver trim.
