Wedding Booked!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, after a good while looking at options and choping and changing (and convincing my fiancee, we have finally booked our Florida wedding!!

Leaving Manchester for Orlando on 23rd October 2008, to stay 10 nights at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort, getting married at Cypress Grove park on the 28th or 29th (not confirmed yet) before heading out on the Disney 4 day bahama cruise for a mini honeymoon!!

There's still so much to think of and do (and ill be having a good look at the wedding and honeymoon board on here for help, as well as for you guys for a Brit's perspective!!), but am so excited!!!

We are getting married here in the UK on the 6th October and are flying out to disney to stay in the wilderness lodge for 3 weeks on the 7th October.

We booked with Virgin (had £100 Virgin vouchers, plus went with Virgin in July and was all good) - how about you?

Thanks for all the walm wishes too, our invoice arrived at our travel agents yesterday so am going to pick it up after work, then trying to hire a venue for the after party (back home) this weekend - all so exciting!!

We booked ours through getmarriedinflorida, we're having the reception at celebration golf club. Haven't figured out a venue back here yet though!

Congratulations We got married at cypress grove through virgin on the 30th november last year.It truely is a beatiful place.Can I recommend when you meet the wedding planner you upgrade the photo package to have some black and white-also the dvd is fantastic and well worth the money.If you pm me your email I will send you some photos of our wedding.We booked the grand floridian garden room afternoon tea and had photos took on the beach and then had a meal at the contemporary.We had so much attention and bumped into mickey and goofy whilst waiting outside chef mickeys-hence lots of photos
We had a lady chaplin and she was lovley-have vowed to renew our vows in 5 years.You will love it.

Well, a slight update, the wedding date has been confirmed as the 28th October, which was the day we wanted.

We've decided to have the "wedding meeting" on Friday 24th, having arrived on the day before, so we can have time to iron out any potential issues before the wedding on the Tuesday.

However more than likely none of our guests will be arriving til the Friday Afternoon or Saturday, so hoping this isn't going to be an issue!

Feels like so long away, but feels like there's not enough time to think about it all!!!!

my nephew got married at cypress grove On Oct 30th this year, what a fantastic location and the wedding was so lovely also the reception afterewards! Doris did read the vows, she is supposed to be the best there
