Wedding Attire for men

As you may have seen on my other post, I will be attending a Disney wedding in October. I was wondering what the guys normally wear to this specific style wedding. Is is just the classic suit and tie, or kakhi's and polo/collard shirt?? I will be attending alone and don't want to look like a goon. LOL

Suggestions/tips for a Disney wedding attire??

Where's the ceremony and reception and does the invitation look formal? If so, a suit. If it looks more casual you could likely get away with khakis and a button down dress shirt. If you give us some more details it might be easier to advise!

It's a safe bet to assume that an evening wedding would require a suit unless you know that it's going to be casual.

Tricia's advice about analyzing the invite/venues is great! If worse comes to worse, ask the bride and groom!

if there was no guidance on the invite, i would inquire with the bride and groom or someone in the wedding party. my first assumption would be to wear whatever i would wear to a similarly timed event at home.

Our wedding was in November 2008. Our ceremony was in Epcot - Italy in the morning and then we had a brunch at Atlantic Dance Hall from 11:00 to 3:00. There were 50 guests at our wedding. Out of the 25 men that attended, 6 (bridal party and dads) wore tuxes - all the other men wore suits, except two wore dress pants and a jacket and one wore dockers and a polo.

Yeah I figured a suit was the norm, but didn't want to out dress anyone. LOL
