I started a new webpage for my 9-year-old son who has a brain tumor. Check it out! Link is below.

You must be very proud of Nicholas for his fundraising efforts. What a brave kid he is. Loved the photos.

He's a very cute kid! I read the first page of the journal and what hit me right away was the math trouble. My godson had the same trouble! He was awesome in math and school and after chemo his math skills dropped and then after radiation they dropped again...we read all kinds of articles about the effects of chemo and radiation and math skills! He started out with Leukemia and the cure for the leukemia ended up giving him brain tumors....I wish you and him the best of luck for a healthy and happy life.....I know first hand what you are going through with a child with a brain tumor...

Thanks so much for sharing with us here. It looks great.

What a neat kid, Nic is. He brought me a smile here aearly today. :sunny: St Jude is my saint of choice for comfort too. Best wishes for him, he sure seems like he has it all together, a good kid. I really liked the pictures too.

What a great site, thanks for posting it!

My mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 48 so I can only imagine a child having to suffer from it. Your son is my hero and I wish him nothing but a very, very happy and healthy life!

Very nicely done!

My dad was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in 1988. Unfortunately, he didn't survive. It was a very difficult time in my life, I can't imagine having to go through that with a child. :guilty:

Nicholas is a fighter and one strong little boy. I wish him and all of you the very best. :goodvibes :grouphug:

BTW, children hold a special place in my heart and St. Jude's Hospital is the only cause that I donate money to every single year.

They are both growing up so fast! Both mum and I love the new web page.

Thanks everyone for signing his guestbook so far. He has really enjoyed all the messages.

Yes Wendy, Nicholas has grown 7 inches in about 20 months due to the growth hormone or "Miracle Grow" as he likes to call it. It has really thinned him out and he hasn't really gained any weight just 7 inches in height.

Wanted to give this a bump.......since I know how beneficial these web pages are to sick children, a friend at work had one on his daughter and he said she read it everyday looking for new entries, she has since passed but it was nice reading her thoughts and also knowing that she found joy in reading what people had to say.

Thank you for sharing your story. My dd is getting an MRI tomorrow. We think she is OK but we are making sure. She is also on growth hormone.

I have updated Nicholas' website after our St. Jude visits this week. :tink:

So happy your son got good results. :goodvibes

very nice web site. You must be so proud of your son. I'm also proud of you. What a great mom.

Awesome site! Your son is very handsome and sounds like a neat person to know!

Delighted by the good news - I can testify that this whole family are "neat" people to know!
Wendy
