My window opened and now the web and app just go black when I try to book anything

Try an incognito window on your web browser.

If midnight is when it turns your day, all that can be done now is check in. Booking activities won’t even open for another 2 and a half hours.

I'll just point out that it's not unusual for the DCL website to flake out, occasionally. It doesn't happen often, but it happens.
