Leaving in 12 hours and just checked the weather on weather.com and it is saying rain/thunderstorms for this weekend. :guilty: How do you make the most out of rainy days in a park? :umbrella: And if it is a rainy day is one park better to visit than the others? :confused3

Here's hoping that weather.com isn't always accurate!! ;)

We went last June and the forecast called for thunderstorms most days. In reality, it didn't rain everyday and when it did, it usually started around 3pm and rained for an hour or so. Only one evening did it rain and rain and rain. So, I don't think it will be that rainy. It wasn't a problem. I bought cheap ponchos and we'd just carry on. Many of the attractions are inside anyways.

We're leaving tomorrow to drive down (hooray!). We have a few stops, so we don't get to the park til Monday night, but I'm hoping for SOME rainy forecasts to help reduce the crowds.

I'd prefer to see the sun most of the time, but if it rains all day everyday I can live with it. At least it won't be FREEZING RAIN which is what we have here at home AGAIN today!!!

See you down there! Have a great time!

corinascot......have a safe trip down! I agree....the forecast still is a lot better than snow and 30's here! Have a wonderful trip! ::MickeyMo

Orlando area is so big that sometimes it's really hit and miss with rain. I swear we've been in Epcot with rain and then over the MK where there was No rain! Don't worry! We're leaving today, too

I agree... from my experience, thunderstorms is a generic forecast for florida as the weather gets warmer, so I wouldn't worry too much. On my last trip it was beautiful the whole time, except one day it was raining and dipped to about 60 degrees. We bundled up, put our ponchos on and had a great time in EPCOT. If it's anything like the summer rain, it only lasts 10-15 minutes anyway. I'm jealous, it's still cold here:-(

Ponchos and flip flops=No lines
keep the flip flops in a bag or vice versa..
they can be uncomfortable when it is not raining
you still have time to buy them at Target, Walmart, K-mart etc..... :hourglass
have fun

Throw on your ponchos, grab some extra socks for your backpack and head out to the parks! Hope you have a great time!
