Could anyone tell me what the weather is like mid November in Florida. My daughter and I are thinking about planning a Disney trip for the week before thanksgiving. Also how are the crowds that week? Thanks.

I have only been once in November, and it was the week before Thanksgiving, four years ago. The weather was mild. Warm and sunny during the day and a little cool at night. Crowd levels were lower than when we normally go in May. In fact, I have a photo of all of us one morning during EMH at MK in Frontierland and there is only one person other than my family standing in the street!!

According to the Weather Channel website, the average temps for November at WDW are 78 for a high and 58 for a low. I can tell you that the temps in November can swing pretty wildly through a single day - frosty cold in the morning, warming to mid-80s in the afternoon. But, generally speaking, it's very pleasant. Also, it's not typically very rainy in November, which is nice for touring.

We've went the week after Thanksgiving many times and it's been hit or miss with the weather. Usually it's pretty nice but we had a stormy rainy vacation during that time frame as well.

One thing for sure, you'll be going at a great time of year. If you check EasyWDW you'll see very low crowd expectations. It's right after Jersey and right before Thanksgiving. It will be an awesome time to go. I'd bet the Wednesday MVMCP would be incredible with low crowds and great weather, but you never know. Good luck!!!

My birthday is in early Nov and we use to live in florida with annual passes so we would go a lot for my birthday. The entire month after the first weekend and before the week before thanksgiving it is a lower time. The crowds are lower so not as much body heat (thats a win in my book) actual weather...between 70's and 80's very mild. i always got to ride the things i wanted with a low wait tiime...except soarin'..its always busy

There can be cold fronts during that time. One time we went mid November, mostly brought shorts. It was 80's the first day, the second day a cold front came through with a big storm and the rest of the time it was 60's during the day and down to the 40's at night. We were freezing at night, had to buy a sweatshirt and rewear the jeans we brought. It was 1996, before the days of internet weather.

We went that exact same week this year. Weather could not have been better! It wasn't too hot or too cold - honestly it was perfect. Upper 70's most days and the kids were able to swim. We only had rain one day out of the 8 we were there. The parks were decorated for Christmas and the Osborne Lights were going on at HS. Crowds were great! Free dining was going on, so I expected it to be more busy than it was. We always get to the parks at rope drop, and never had long waits at all. Sadly, our kids are at an age where this was the last year we could pull them out of school for a week...if we could, we would go that same week again in a heartbeat!
