Don't know if this is the right board to ask this, but here it goes. We are booked for 7 night split stay at BCV and Kidani, checking in May 30th. This will be our first "summer trip" home. What can we expect, as far as the weather is concerned? I know you can't predict the weather, but what is the average high temp, low temp, rain chances, and humidity? Also what are the crowds like? TIA!!

May most likely will be hot and humid. I've gone to WDW in Mid May 3 times and 2 of those years it was hot and humid. 1 year it was hot but not humid at all. I've been lucky each time, no rain.
Around the 30th of May I would expect higher crowds due to that being Memorial Day weekend and alot of schools will be out for the summer.

It will be HOT. 90 degrees at least. I went one year during that same week, I believe we checked in on June 1st. By 8 am, it will be at least 85 degrees. So if you like the hot weather, enjoy! And if not, make sure to drink lots of water and if you have a savanna view room, watch the animals from inside your room. It is very pleasant and relaxing to stay in the room animal watching in nice air conditioning.

The average high in May is 88, the low is 66. The average high in June is 91, the low 71. Rainfall in May is 4 inches. In June it is 7.4 inches. The last two years we have stayed the last week in May and the first week in June. Prior to that our stays were in July. May/June is significantly more comfortable than a July visit. Being from Missouri we didn't find the humidity to be an issue, that is, by Missouri standards.

Definitely hot and humid. We wore more clothes than expected because we took two showers per day. At least you'll have access to a washer and dryer :thumbsup2 so you can pack less.

We went this past Memorial Day weekend (May 22-26). It was much cooler than late July & August. Not quite what I think of as typical summer weather - 80's mostly during the day. We did not have any 90's. We did need light jackets for evenings a couple of times as the storms cooled things off considerably. It stormed every day I think. One REAL gully washer one evening that had us wading thru 6" deep water at DTD. Overall tho it was quite pleasant.:thumbsup2
