How is the weather in May? We are looking to go April 30-May 6

Average highs the first week of May are in the mid-upper 80s with morning lows in the low-mid 60s.

But realistically, you can expect afternoon highs anywhere between 75 and 95.

LOL so what you are telling me is to expect it to be really hot. Is it really going to be miserable?

usually the beginning of May isn't bad. but our weather can flip on you in a heartbeat. the sun should be strong but the humidity levels shouldn't be that bad. orlando always feels 10 degrees warmer to me, because it's inland. of course, we shall see.

Late April through early May is a good time to go for weather and crowds.

It does start to warm up as it gets into May but you do not get the high humidity of July and August.

I am sure the heat will not be too oppressive and I would say it's unlikely to hit the mid 90s, more mid 80s on average.

I hope it isn't too bad. I am from Michigan so our weather is always wacky! But I have been to Disney in March (still a little chilly) June or was it July (never again!) and December (nice). So we will see what it's like in May!

We're also going the first week of May. We went once in mid-May and the weather was beautiful. Hot but not so hot that we were miserable (it's been a few years but I would guess it was in the 80's most days and I don't remember it being real humid). Last year we went over Memorial weekend and it was much hotter so I'm hoping for beautiful weather again since it will be early in the month.

When I went in May a few years ago, the weather was nice and warm. It did rain for about 30 minutes each afternoon, but that was a nice way to cool off.
