looks to be saying 82, 80 80 80 80 for my days next week with cool being 62 so will long pants be needed or will shorts work
(i know in morning it will be nippy ill have my jacket not sure bout pants or shorts tho.
Any one who can give me insight it would be helpful and appreciated thanks :thumbsup2

I was there last week and wore shorts and tank tops the entire time! I think you will be too warm in long pants.

It depends on where you're from. I'm from Seattle, and 80 is definitely shorts and tank top weather. But you're from Phoenix, which is surface-of-the-sun hot to me. Will 80 seem cool (or even cold) by comparison?

You will likely be standing in lines that aren't shaded at least part of your day, so take that into consideration.

Maybe capris? Or, can you go back to the hotel/motel and change in the evening when it starts to cool down? I'd bring a light jacket, but I don't think a low of 62 is THAT cold. But again, I'm from Seattle. ;-)

i know 80 here is shorts all day and night but phx is dry and cali is humid so ive been told.

lol they use to live in cali so i think they said humid but ok ty ill take shorts but pants for evening maybe (like when we go to park at 4 or 5 in evening for evening shows

Phoenix in August is a lot more humid than I have ever felt in Cali. I lived in Phoenix for 5 years and have lived the rest of my time all over northern Ca. There is some humid days in Ca but not nearly as bad as monsoon season in Phoenix.

As for shorts weather I'm biased. If its not snowing (and sometimes even if it is) its shorts weather for me.

Hiya! Another desert dweller here. We went in October 2 years ago and last July. I wore capris most days and was comfortable except the day it rained when I was a little chili. If I had to pick I would do the pants instead of the shorts. I figure I would rather be a little warmer than cooler since I HATE to be cold now that I moved here. And I don't feel that CALI is humid at all. I am from the midwest originally and THAT is humid. California is gorgeous.

Humid? Whoever told you this has never been to somewhere that is humid. :lmao:

haha right??? yeah no we arent humid

Jade, where did you get your weather info from? I go by a web site that is used by NASA and I have found it to be the most accurate I have ever used...and according to what I have (and thats only for Sun, Mon, and tues., at this time) its only going to be around 75 ...and with you being like us and being used to heat I would say its not short weather..I would totally take some just in case but plan on bringing some capris or pants and short sleeve shirts and a jacket for the evenings

ive got two sweat pants pink and blue tink and i think Eroyo(sp sorry)
and two half pants that im trying to find they go to my knees and what i feel comfy in when its cool here.

I will take my shorts too heck steve and i said we could take them in the bag and change in the after noon after the 3 cool hours of the morning lol

now its changed 83 78 78 83 90

I would definitely suggest taking pants as well as shorts. I will be there in July, I will be taking 2 pair of pants, 2 pair of capris and 1 pair of shorts (yes, I've already started planning/packing......LOL) I will also be taking 2 sweatshirts at the minimum (unless we decide to buy new ones there), extra socks and 2 pair of shoes. :)

2pair of half pants (only ones that dont drag ground)
2 pair sweat pants
3pair shorts
3pair shoes, my saddles, my walking shoes , my ankle boots oh and my white saddles for in bag to slip on when go on wet rides lol so 4 shoes

socks one pair a day at least. and i have my fav jacket (pink pirates) and one long sleeve shirt with tink on it.
kid will have shorts and pants so he will be fine.

Jade, i used to use accuweather but they were off so many times it got annoying:rotfl:...this is what i use and i have been using it for over a year and its pretty spot on...still dont see any high temps in the forecast and friday it may rain but keep in mind it may change before you go but you're so close to going, I think what you see here is pretty much going to be what it is...this weekend, temps are going to drop all over the state...

I use www.weather.com on my CPU and weather channel app on my phone. Both have been fairly accurate for me. Both say upper 70s all week (Mon- Thu) with Fri supposed to be 80. Should be perfect weather I am so stoked.

thanks ya my mom says shes wearing dresses and te shirt and shorts she says it sounds perfect weather 75 or 80 shes just stoked about not being in 100+%s lol
