We are about to leave Arizona and head to Orlando in two days. Weather shows rain for Saturday. I thought that Dec/Jan was not the rainy season? I can see the highs the lows, but know little more. Advice on what to pack for Magic Kingdom?

I live on the west coast of FL about an hour from WDW. Yes, winter is not typical of rain here but it does rain through the winter. March/April are actually the driest months.
Nights are cool (cold to us who live here) but day time highs are definately t-shirts/shorts. I'd bring layers. And even though it's scheduled to rain here
(60% chance near St. Petersburg), That 60% is highly unlikely to be an all day event.
I've read on the boards that many people go to their local dollar store to get rain ponchos to bring rather than buy them in the world. Living in FL, you kind of learn to duck in some where and hang out for a while and then the rain. You still should have good weather.

I live in Miami and have noticed that forecasts vary greatly from local reports to the national channels, including the weather channel. I would suggest going to google and searching for local Orlando weather. If it is warm this time of year where you are at then pack warmly. If it is cold where you are at then the weather may actually feel warm to you. I moved down from Oklahoma a couple of years ago and have never felt the need to wear jeans or long sleeves at Disney. I will be there Jan 2-6 and will pack a pair of jeans just in case like I always do but doubt I will wear them. I would pick up a cheap poncho at a dollar store or Walmart as there is rain in the forecast for your Saturday and my Friday.

I live near Tampa and I'd definitely suggest that you pack a bit of both jeans and shorts. The weather has been very weird lately. On Christmas, I wore shorts. Today, I'm wearing a jacket and long pants so it's a big shift in just two days. Check again in a few days. I'm going on the 31st-2nd for a short New Years trip and I still have no clue what to pack with this crazy weather!

Last week of Feb usually starts to warm up. Mid to upper 70's in the day and then 50's-60's at night. We can get a cold snap but it's not normal.
