Weather the last week of April?

We're heading down for a few days at the end of April. Weather channel shows that the high temperature that time of year tends to be around low to mid 80s, but I'd love to hear from folks who tend to go that week how it actually feels. I am not a heat and humidity person. We've always gone in Nov and Dec. I can handle 80 degrees but not much more than that, especially if it's humid (which it usually is not in fall and winter when we go). My hope is that the killer heat and humidity arrive in or after May. Otherwise, I'll be ducking from one air conditioned spot to the next. Also, should we be expecting lots of rain? Like downpour rain?
