:guilty: I know this is probably posted already but I can't find it:surfweb: ! We will be at DLH Dec 3-7 and just wondering what to expect weather wise. It will my my dh, granddaughter, grandson (both are 3) and myself. :cheer2: :cheer2: I can't wait! Thanks for your help!

It'll be very pleasant--60s and 70s during the day and very cool at night (50s). You'll want to bring a little bit of everything clothing-wise! We're used to very hot weather, so in December at DL, we're in jeans and t-shirts with a sweater or sweatshirt for mornings and evenings--but I always see people from snowy weather walking around in shorts.

You might get rain, but it usually isn't very heavy and it blows over fairly quickly. I'd recommend bringing ponchos and maybe small portable umbrellas for everyone. I usually bring some heavy-duty ponchos, and then also some cheap ones (like Dollar Store quality) that we can use on the "wet" rides and then throw out.

If you hit rain and your ponchos get wet and you don't want to carry them around in your backpack or whatever, just ask at any shop for a plastic bag. Then you can carry that with the wet ponchos in it.

It is our tradition to go at this time every year (sometimes twice!). As the PP said, we are used to super hot weather, so low 60's is cold to me. In the AM and starting in the afternoon, we all start putting our jackets on. I always wear jeans with flip flops during the day, the have socks and Converse in the locker for night time. A few years I've even had a scarf while waiting for the night parade.

It has never rained when we have been. Always clear, blue skies, but that doesn't mean it won't be chilly. I have never brought a poncho to DL, and I never get that wet on Splash Mountain. I don't know about the wet ride in DCA, as we rarely go over there.

I must say, the weather we have had so far this year has not been typical. Way above average as far as heat goes all year long, and barely any rain. SO, you never really can say what will happen. But whatever does happen, have a great trip!

Happy early Anniversary! You're going to have tons of fun and it is the perfect time to go IMO. Not too crowded, perfect weather, and beautiful decorations make is very special. Let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the weather update - we'll be there Nov 30-Dec 2 and I wasn't sure what to expect. Sounds like it will be great.

We were at DL right after New Years a few years ago, dressed in our usual SoCal winter clothes: shorts, t-shirt and sweatshirt. One of the CMs looked at us and said we must be from California because no one else dresses like that in Anaheim in Jan. I do bring jeans and a jacket for the evening, as well as gloves if we plan to sit waiting for a parade or fireworks.
