Weather in October?

I've looked through the threads to read anything about October.

I'd like to read old threads from trips taken at that time. Not sure where to look.

Does anyone know what the weather is like. We'll be at FW 10/19-10/25.

The times I have been there in October, it was absolutely beautiful weather! The days could get somewhat hot...80's (but bearable), but the nights cooled down really nicely to where I needed a sweatshirt. Maybe we've been lucky when we have been there, but we didn't have much rain, either. Enjoy your trip!

Oct. can be beautiful and it most years. Sometimes it can be hot and sometimes it can be cold but usually it is beautiful.

I love camping in the winter months here in florida.

Agreed,,Oct. in general is a beautiful time to hit the Fort,,Oct is our favorite time.
And it's general good fishing too !

I was there the first week of October last year, Sept. 27 to October 3rd... and weather was great. Sunny, and warm without being humid..very pleasant.

Growing up in FL, I should have known that it is still HOT in September! But, I couldn't help to notice that 95 is the average temperature during the time we will be there!

Calway, it looks like your time will be quite pleasant.

We love going in October, so far it's been warm enough to go swimming even at night..but we're from Maine..so fall and winter there is almost like our summer..and so far, knock on wood, has been pretty dry..we'll be there from 10/25-11/5..so hoping it will be the same this year.
