Hi

What is the weather like in November. We are hopefully leaving on the 20th November as we have a few dates in mind. We are not sure on what to wear or pack.

What are the crowds like?

Thanks
Michelle

Michelle,

We find the weather great in November,it tends to be cooler in the mornings and evenings so trousers and a light jacket or fleece would be ok,during the day the weather is lovely and warm so shorts and t's.

Worth remembering that you'll be there during Thanksgiving week ( 3rd Thursday in November ). Parks are busy that week, but quieten down on the following Sunday...and are VERY quiet until mid-December.

Weather is perfectly nice, but cooler evenings, you'll need legs covered and fleecies at night!

Hi

Thanksgiving is the last Thursday in Nov, this would make it the 25th Nov (the 4th Thurs).

I am worried that if I go in December then it will be too cold. I am not sure if Fantasmic will be cancelled due to colder weather. Its a hard one. My daughter starts school in September we tried to get a flight in October, but we can get a flight. My husband is an Accountant he can only take the last 2 weeks off in the month, which is a right pain. How busy are the parks compared to Summer?

Thanks for all your advice

We've been down in November and in December and find the weather to be quite nice. The locals complain that its cold, but if the sun's out and its in the 70's we're fine.

We were amused last time to find CMs in jackets looking at us like we were crazy walking around in shorts and t-shirts. Just depends on what you're used to.

I'd advise that you take a light jacket as it does cool off in the evenings. I have several pairs of convertibale pants that I take with me on these trips. You can start your day with pants, zip the legs off during the day and have shorts and then zip them back on if it cools off in the evening. That combined with a windbreaker has kept me quite comfortable int he parks.

I've gone in November for the past 2 years and I found the wheather perfect both times. Hot enough for shorts but cool enough to be comfortable workng round.

I only went to Universal over Thanksgiving and yes the crowds get bigger but nothing like they do during the summer holidays so it shouldn't really be a problem.

Plus if you like shopping the day after Thanksgiving you get amazing sales starting!

I'm going back the same itme this year.

My first post !

My wife and I are off to Pop Century on November 25th for 15 nights and have done just this ! We booked our room direct with Disney for #690 (standard room) and our flights with BA from Glasgow - LGW - Orlando - #950. Total cost for 15 nights in Disney from Glasgow = #1640 for the two of us. We plan on getting a Mears shuttle from Orlando International to PC.

It may be over 5 months away but were already planning :Pinkbounc :bounce:

My first post too!!

You can find out what the weather was like at the same time last year by going to www.orlandoweather.com (sorry don't know how to post link) and selecting almanac. This should give you a rough idea of temparatures, rain fall etc

Hi

Wow you got an excellent price Colin. Pop Century looks great we went past it a few times. We are looking to stay at All Star Movies again. Our daughter loves Buzz and the Dalmations.

It's amazing how much cheaper you can get it by booking it all seperately. Just shows how much tour operators are making.

Thanks for the link it was very helpful.

Can't wait now.
