Weather in May

We're going at the end of May and was wondering if anyone knows what the weather will be like both during the day and at night. Will I need to pack long pants and sweatshirts for us??? Last year we were there in March and only had one cool day but the weather was beautiful so wondering how it is in May.

We have been the past 5 years the end of May (Memorial Day weekend + following week) and its HOT. Normally in upper 80's and 90's, but I think it was last year or maybe 2003 it was in the 100's. You will not need long pants or sweatshirts at all, unless you need them in your room, where we keep ours like at 65.

I think it depends on what part of the country your from. Weather is unpredictable no matter what, but May is usually pretty warm. Last time we were there in May it was around 70 the entire time b/c of storms coming through, but that isn't "the norm" for Florida at that time of year. So for us, 65-70 was blazing hot and we were running around in shorts and tank tops the entire time. Our friend from Texas who was with us, however, had her sweatshirt and jeans on the whole time. Plan for it to be hot out (like 70-80) but just in case pack maybe two sweatshirts and some jeans.
