Weather in May

We are coming In May and would like to know what the weather is like. We’re from Hawaii is the weather similar ?

May is a great time to visit. Crowds are comparatively lower. The weather can be warm but not as bad as peak summer. It should be similar to Kona on the big island. But your visit may coincide with love bug season. Most years it's fine but some can be really bad

I've always liked going in May!

We're from the northeast, so May in Florida is comparable to what we'll get a couple months later up here. I usually bring a sweatshirt in case of a chilly night, but mostly it's shorts and T-shirt weather. (And I don't remember a bug problem, so I guess I got lucky there!) I'd expect temps in the 80s.

We went in early May a couple of years ago and it was generally warm and had a few brief rain showers as I recall. Some weekdays at certain parks were wall-to-wall people and it made it difficult to even walk in some places. Disney is generally crowded all year long, so I doubt you will be able to find a time of year when it isn't busy.

Many indoor restaurants were too cold and seemed to have the A/C running full blast. Good to bring a sweater or light jacket for the indoor areas even if it is hot outside.
