The weather is brilliant, pretty damn hot, some showers (which are actually nice over there) and mix of sunshine and oh, more sunshine.

We're going on the 8th of May too!

:thumbsup2 :woohoo: :woohoo: I've been told that May is a great time to go - still hot but not super burning like August. Apparently beginning of May is queitest time for visitors as well................that's why I am going 2 WEEKS TODAY!!!!!!!!!!

So excited a little piece of poo just came out!!!

Weatherunderground is our favourite, we are going on the 9th. Use the trip planner with the dates you are travelling and it will give you an idea of the daily averages over the last few years.

8th May for 2 weeks average high is 30oC low 18oC

Historic low is 2oC!!!! which I would hope is a statistical error.

Temperatures takes longer to build during the day at this time of year e.g. a day where max temp is 30oC when you leave for the park in the morning it could still be about 20oC by midday it will creep up to 27oC not peaking until about 4pm. Compared to August which can also peak about 30oC it starts at 28 and by midday is already 30 and rarely goes lower than 25!

Hope that helps

How peculiar, I wee'd a bit instead :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

25 days.

I'm a 32 year old dad by the way, who'd have thought I'd get this excited. Just bring on that lovely 5.2l V8 Toyota 4x4 with air-con that could freeze your eyeballs!

May is hot but nothing like as stifling as it will be in July or August.
Temps. low to mid 80s on average.

Overall not a bad time to go, shouldn't get too much rainfall but the odd shower/storm especially late afternoon is a possibility.

We have been in May twice and loved it. Not to hot just right for the kids. Going the end of May beginning of June this year, can't wait

We go on 5th May, but so far I'm manfully in control of all my bodily functions.
Oh no, hang on.......:rolleyes1:

Normally we always go in May, last year went on the 10th....parks were empty (sort of!!) and weather was hot, hot, hot. Hoping for the same in October.

Not time for me to do any bodily functions just yet!!:lmao:

Well thank you all for your various replies describing the weather and your excitement levels !! addmittedly i'm a little shell shocked by some of your addmissions ( eg a little poo or a little wee sliiping out) but i suppose when i have exoerienced orlando for myself i might be doing the same myself once again thank you hope you all have a nice holiday whenever you go x:laughing:

Yeah, sorry about the wee!

Didn't the nice weather this weekend make everyone just that bit more excited about going? I know it did in my family.

It did in mine! Only thing is that the clothes I've washed and ironed ready for the hol, we've been wearing!!! Oh well, can't really complain about anything with the countdown I've got! Yippee!

Hi

I loved May. It was a great time to go. Weather was hot it was around 34 when we went and it only rained once in our weeks stay and that was for 20 mins max. Within 10 mins you wouldnt of realised it had rained. Loved the Epcot flower festival. It was very pretty. If it was not for halloween May would be no 1 choice at the moment.

Ditto, but then again we went last September too. It's a shame there are no evening events in May, the Halloween party was ace.

It can be quite hot in May... just glorious for lazing around the pool!!

4 weeks woohoo!!
