We will be going to Disneyworld next summer. May 30-June 5. I'm sure the weather is hot and humid, but is it really bad? I guess it really doesn't matter, because we can't go anyother time!! I just need alittle reassurance.

We've gone many times in June. You are correct-hot & humid. We've found the best way to battle that is go back to the resort for swim/nap in the afternoon. Then return to the parks later after you're refreshed.

You didn't say what ages are in your group. If you can, take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours schedule. We especially like the nighttime extra hours.

Don't worry, you'll still have fun. :wave2:

In addition to the mid day breaks, a little planning can help make the most of your time in the parks and can help limit the time spent in hot lines. Learning about and using fast pass is a great help.

It really depends on the year. We were just there for that same timeframe this year and it rained every day, drizzley rain, not huge downpours. It was in the mid 80's most of the time and not all that humid. It kept crowds low in the mornings when it was raining (not really even hard enough to need ponchos most of the time) so we walked on to all the rides and were done with what we wanted to do by about 1:00 in the afternoon every day. When I was looking at the temps from last year for the same time, it was about 100 degrees every day. Our friends that live in Orlando said that the week we were there was very unusual weather for them and it doesn't rain like that.

Last time I was there in early June was 1988. It was definitely hot hot hot. I highly recommend a big hat that fully blocks out the sun's rays for anyone who's got short hair. Highly recommend.

Recommendations to take a midday break are practically unnecessary: Many folks will take one whether they want to or not. :-\

we have gone in June several times. Its hot, muggy and it RAINS almost everyday. But we keep going back because if you work around it, its not really that bad. Usually your mornings are wonderful so if you get up and get started early, plan breaks in the afternoon when the heat is up and the rain comes, and then go back in the evening its really not bad.

We were also there this year, and the rain was worse than it usually is, but its not stopping us for planning another trip for this time next year!

We were there June 7-13 2005 and it wasnt bad IMO. It rained/drizzled pretty much the whole week.( See the pic in my signature, thats how it looked most of the week)

Now the 2 days that were sunny, they were brutal but we made it :)

When we went in 2002 in June they had record highs (upper 90's). This year we went in June and they had record highs in rain. We had a great time both times though. Plan and prepare and you will will have fun!
