Weather in January?

I am lucky enough to be taking our first family vacation to Disney 1/24 - 1/28. I have a 4 year old and a one year old, and was wondering what I should expect for weather.

Be prepared for anything. It will always be fairly cool (for FL) in the evening. The days can vary from the low 40s to high 70's...

Bill, thanks for posting that. When jordanyosh posted the possibility of daytime highs in the 40s, I got very nervous. While I'm sure that is completely possible and has happened, I was please to see last year the lowest high of the month was 59. We will be very depressed if we have temps only in the 40s. Sure, it would still be better than what the temps in Illinois will be in January, but not at all what we would like for a vacation in Florida.

Orlando weather in January is a lot like Goldie Hawn... might be 60 or might be 35....

We went the same time last year, and had some swim days and some winter coat days! All days were better than the blizzard that hit OH that week, however!

We will be there Jan 21-28 and have also been researching the weather. I am just going to pack the same as i always do for out December trips. Looks to be similar. Bathing suits as well as winter jackets, gloves and hats! In fact it looks like it will be just like the weather here in AZ!

Thanks for all of the weather info! We're taking our 4 & 5 year old January 20-27, and I was nervous about the weather. Here in Memphis, January means mostly 30's and 40's with, of course, 20's and 50's thrown in occasionally. My hope for Orlando was 60 during the daylight...looks like that's a good possibility. We all recently got new Old Navy fleeces, so I'm sure those will be making it into the daily backpack for the parks!! Gloves, hats, and accessories too...
