Hopefully this is ok to post in here, wasn't sure which forum was best. Who has been in early Feb and what was your weather? I know that FL is wacky and can be all over the place. Looking at averages they look wonderful but who knows what we'll get. I am praying its nice. Not hot, not cold. We've been in Dec when its been 40 and windy all week and then in Sept when it was humid and HOT. I really would love to just go and be comfortable for once!!!! I figure I'm gonna have to pack a lot for Feb?

Been in early Feb a few times. LOVE it. We are from Baltimore so it is nice and warm in FL. Usually chilly enough for a sweater or light jacket in early morning and evenings. I almost always wear shorts no matter what but we usually get a locker to stow our layers so we don't have to carry them.

Yep, Feb can be very varied. When we were there, the high was around 80-82 with low humidity. Shorts, t-shirts and flip flops. In the evening, it dropped into the 60s. We stayed in shorts, but DW put on long sleeve shirt...I did too one time for about an hour. However, I've heard of days that don't get above 45. So you never know.

That sounds nice. And I can do the layered thing. I really just don't want to be so hot its miserable like it was in Feb. Honestly Id rather wear leggings or work out capris over shorts. So hopefully I can.

Good to know. We are in Northern VA so we have HOT and COLD!! I just want nice haha.

We went in February for the first time this past Feb. We wondered about the weather too, but were pleasantly surprised that it was very nice. We were there between the 6th and 16th, and had mostly 70's in the day, and a little cooler in the evenings. I might have put on a light jacket one time, but that's it.
I kept wondering where the cold weather was?? But I think we were just lucky and it is a "crap shoot" most of the time.

Well I hope we get lucky this time because the past two trips weve had not enjoyable weather.

I would add that you shouldn't take the long range forecast as gospel either, as the weather can change in a heartbeat. So if the 7 day forecast before you leave for Florida looks really warm, make sure you still pack some cool weather gear, unless you love paying for overpriced sweatshirts at the park.

Yes, pack a lot. We were there in early February a few years ago and weather was great. It helped to have ponchos and jackets, but we only needed the ponchos once and the jackets at night.

That said, we've been in late January twice. In 2009, the weather was like I just described during our February trip. In 2016, it was literally freezing when you factored in the wind chill. We wrapped ourselves from head to toe in blankets during Wishes.

So there is no way to know far in advance. Check the forecast carefully in the days before you go to get a sense of what it will mostly be like, and bring layers.

We were in WDW for the first two weeks of February 2016. The highs ranged from low 80's to low 60's. It was really cold at rope drop on the days with highs of 60-62. We are from Canada, and we still had hats and gloves on in the morning!

My trip was the last half week of Jan continuing to the first half week of February. We started the mornings with coats, took them off an hour or so into the day. Two of the days were warm enough by about 4pm to swim, the others were in the low 70s with a breeze so swimming was too chilly.
Here we are on our way into Epcot:

Fleeces were a nice in-between layer that wasn't too hot but kept up warm enough.

It can be rainy and cold, and you will need sweaters/fleeces and jeans and sneakers. I've also been swimming in early February (and I'm from the south so don't go swimming unless it's at a minimum upper 70s and sunny). So it really just depends. I wouldn't plan for water parks, but hopefully you would be able to get a little pool time in. But no guarantee.

Best weather in Disney is between January and April. We go a lot during those months just because the weather is cooler.

I am sorry I have lived just outside of Orlando my entire life I agree with cold I don't recall seeing rain

You just have to wait till you are ready to pack. I live in FL and it can be as cold as the 30's at night and as warm as the 80's during the day. Just never know. Now we lived here several years ago and we just moved back and we moved in Jan....and we still had some cool days in feb.

Well the photos would be from our trip in Feb 2011 so they're not on my phone anymore, but I promise we are standing on Main St in ponchos.

In your entire life, you have never had rain in February in Orlando? Seems a bit of a stretch. I went to Univ of FL for undergrad, so not so far away. I recall February weather being pretty variable in college, too.

I believe you I just don't remember it. If it was February of 2011 it was right before I got married so I might have been distracted

Don't want to hear about snow unlike northerners I don't have the clothes for it and Florida does not sell it well they do I have bought it it's just harder to find
