Hi All, after saying we wouldn't be back for a few years, we have given in and booked up for 4 nights in February (a Christmas pressie from my Mum for the kids). I was wondering what we can expect weather wise. We have been in September when it was quite mild and also at the end of November when it was really quite cold...slight snow some days, am thinking it may be similar in Feb as it was in November....can anyone advise?

Also we are staying in the Santa Fe this year (pretty much as it was the cheapest option). We have previously stayed in the SL and the Cheyenne and enjoyed both equally. Any tips, advice or comments on the Santa Fe most welcome!

Thaks guys

i was there in feb 2008 and it was cold. it snowed one day and i even had to wear a hat lol. i know it was very cold last year as well. i think as long as you wrap up well its fine. we had ski jackets and thermals, hats scarves and gloves are a must

I think most folk know by now that the Santa Fe is my favourite hotel out of the 3 onsite ones I've stayed at so far - and now its had a bit of a Cars theme makeover, its even more child-pleasing :goodvibes.

I don't tend to bother with breakfast at either the Santa Fe or the Cheyenne, we go to Salon Mickey for breakfast later in the morning. But if you do want to fill up in the morning at breakfast, go as early as you possibly can, even if it means just throwing some clothes on and then coming back to your room afterwards to get ready for your park day.

It might be a wee bit colder in Feb than your visit in November, so I'd prepare for that.

this

if you are planning on eating breakfast do it early. the queues can get very long especially after half seven

Santa Fe is a great place. Theres a petrol station a short walk across some grass too. The bars good. Staff are friendly. Yes breakfast is busy but it was when we were in sequoia lodge too. Just bear in mind its a bigger walk to the park. But we always walked it as it was very pretty. Even in January. Also bring a hat that covers your ears :)

Cold, cold, cold, and did I mention cold?! But it was so fab to be wrapped up in hats, scarves and gloves, walking to the parks in the morning, or to be warming up with a hot choc in the arcades. :goodvibes We have booked for Feb again this year.

I'm also heading to the Santa Fe in february!

I've bought a ski jacket - feeling the cold already! :)

we are also at the santa fe in feb, we went feb 2010 and it was freezing! snow, rain, sleet the lot, but it did not spoil our holiday in the slightest! wrap up well, we had flasks with cupasoups and hot chocolate in them which we took with us into the parks , which was good for a quick warm up!

I'm heading up for my birthday with my friends in January. The cold was the one thing putting them off, but I managed to convince them. I will definitely be wrapping up, its my excuse to buy loads of new winter clothes!

We're also heading to Santa Fe, and since I haven't been to DLP since I was 10 (except for a day trip with school) I'm really excited and don't know what to expect from the hotels. I'm glad Santa Fe has such positive reviews from you guys.

I love wrapping up in winter!! All I hope is that it doesn;t rain!! I live in Glasgow anyway so should be used to the temperatures by then!!

Have a great time all x

Oh yeah ! Paris in February can be very cold ! So, scarves, gloves, thermal and hat are really a good idea !

...I'm really happy, it seems that a lot of people will go to DLP in February...Like Me ! :woohoo::banana:

I'm going in February too.:thumbsup2 Having been twice before in January, the cold weather doesn't really bother me. I just dress for warmth and comfort and kiss style goodbye.:rotfl:
